Thank you for your inquiry. While the screws of this mechanism shall stay tight throughout the years, but indeed there is a chance of getting loose after wear and tear. The screws underneath each seat can be tightened up using screwdriver to restore to default hardness, but that shall require opening up the black cloth underneath and replace a new one after fix.
