Any issues over the years? I ask because I got the snodes and the platemates, and tried it out and one of the handles became unstable. It may have just been a defective handle. Snode sent a new handle but I’ve been scared to use the platemates because I wondered if the magnet in them somehow contributed to the failure.
I got a pair of these awesome dumbbells, definitely recommend to buy. Made in China, which proves if you pay for high quality stuff, it is well made. Compare to nuobell all plastics made in Sweden
Very nice. Could you use foam instead of concrete for the posts? Also did you use galvanized pipe for the salmon ladder bar? I worked in a gym where they used a carbon fiber bar bc they claimed it was hard to perform the ascent with a heavier bar like you said. Thank you!
Thank you so much for this vid. It’s the only video I’ve seen with an adjustable dumbbell in the storage system rather than a fixed, so helpful to know others have used it like this. I was unsure whether the slanted or flat would work best. Do you think having the shelf flat would be okay with changing the weights within the storage system? Secondly, I noticed you had the urethane plates on the storage pins and not on the lower plate shelf. Are the urethane plates’ diameter too small to allow them to sit on the shelf without falling through?
I can't find the colour control. I'm stuck with white light. The lights are detected, and I can turn them on, or off. Can't find the colour menu. You did not show how to get into that menu. Thanks.
@danesintexas Thanks for the video. For the dumbell shelves...are they a glossy powdercoat, similar to the uprights? Any issues with scuffing hex dumbbells, etc?
I saw one on Gluck’s gym that had 3 horns and mounted on the rack. I’m trying to store 5 - 45 lbs plates on a single pole because right now they take up the 4 back poles on my 6 pole rack.
i have a 2 pack. im ordering 4 more at least but possibly more. it takes a bit to search for the lamp. when it finds your fixture you might want to give a label on the app. name it. especially if you have several. never had a professional chance to be a lighting director .
In the description there is a link to the company I used. And I just started a chat with them until I was ready to order. I would Just start a chat and go from there, they are very nice and you can ask them questions etc.
Hey man. No I’m not👎 No DB or Barbell presses. I can do some pushups and chest press machine. But I use mostly cables with light weight for shoulders and chest. So brutal. I hope you heal better than me 👍
@@DanesinTexas jesus that must suck. lifting weights is my thing and i havent been able to since october which is so mentally difficult. i had a type 2 seperation from heavy bench but i didnt even realize it was that bad since it wasnt that painful it just clunked loudly when lifting my arm. i dealt with it for 5 months and because i already have a plate on my clavicle from breaking it 4 years ago, it messed up the mri scan so the seperation wasnt internally visible, but there was a visible bump and insanly loud clunk when raising my arm accompanied by some pain, and lots when lifting. today i found out they sutered my clavicle back to my achromion along with the distal clavicle resection. i already have a lot of ROM just days after the surgery with no pain and no meds, so i'm hoping it'll be quicker than your recovery. i'm only 17 so i should heal faster anyways, doc said 6 weeks. thanks for sharing your recovery and sorry for how long its taking. did the surgery end up benefiting you?
