Isn't that amazing?? You won't believe it. It's an Admok M800 which is a knock-off of a Pelikan. It also has a delightful Schmidt nib in it. It cost me under $50!!

I was yelling "housing, you forgot the housing!" 😂 I had the same problem with my converter. The fancy converter wouldn't work with any of my small maker pens. However, I found a more basic platinum converter a couple weeks ago. (It doesn't have the metal ring at the top of it) It fit my small maker pen and seems to be working well 😊

I just recently tried a Platinum nib for the first time and I was surprised how smooth it was. I would like to try a soft one. I’m glad the FC Model 66 came in handy! Thanks for mentioning me!
@@ShariArts isn't that something?? It is a diamondcast one from a while back. It is one of the "Gold Rush" ones called Dreamer purple. I also have the frontier green one so now they are a perfect pair!

I'm glad I'm not the only one about the squeaky leather. I'll do a follow up on this after I've used it some. Based on the fact that the smaller pieces don't squeak at all, I think chances are good that this little bit of squeak will go away with even light use. Thank you for being so supportive, my friend. Sometimes they sell out pretty quickly. They have stopped making the 46 like I have but I do see that they still have model 66 in that resin. It's called Olivae. I've gotten a fair few of my franklin christoph pens second hand. So keep your eyes peeled!
I love this hack... great for the Ecos! I went to our local brew shop and asked for a sample of each width of tubing to get the right size...very economical way to get the tubing!!

LOL I can't figure why these brass pens have so many issues (threads). I have a cute little brass and wood pocket pen that is just basically terrible because the threads are not right. :) This video is a public service lol.

Thanks for the review - I already have one on the way, but this was a good perspective for managing expectations. Just from eyeballing your video, I think you might be right that a jinhao converter/cartridge might fit.
It‘s a pity that TS doesn’t care more about the product that goes out to her fans. Look at how cheap Jinhao 82s are or even a Lamy Safari. Instead her loyal fans are getting unusable crap. That’s just sad and annoying! Kids who’ve never had a fountain pen and who want to be like TS will be totally turned off by fountain pens after having a crappy experience. It angers me.
I don't think she doesn't care. I think she puts trust in her team. And merch is all about lowest cost. They were just trying to hit a certain price point. It would be nice to see something less of a commodity item.

That papier platz is eric small things design !! Oh it will be cute. PET tapes are shiny and are made on plastic. I have never tried myself but they have really fun designs and u can easily cut them to just use what you like. I really love the zoom nib so much. I also have so many washi but no friend to give to.
Ooh, my local shop's Sailor Pen Fair is coming up. Want to try a PG. Just got in a PGS and think it's too small for me. That Christmas pen is cute tho.
all three of these are pro gear, not slim. I hope you try one and love it! I've made a deal with myself not to buy any more slims unless they have a custom finial. They are too cute!

Can you use your own cartridges? Or does it have to be the one that comes with the pen. I collect fountain pens so I have a bunch of different cartridges and also converters for bottle ink… Would it take a converter? I should be receiving mine tomorrow.
