I’ve camped in it at 7c and I wasn’t cold. You got a good sleeping bag and sleep mat you can sleep in lower temperatures. I’ve been out in it a lot more since this video. I’d go out in it below zero.
I will be using my Biolite Firepit + for the first time in about another week. Me, my mom, aunt and a family friend will be camping out on Denali Highway (Highway 8) in about another week.
If the logs are dry there’s not much smoke. But yes you get the secondary combustion from the top vents. But you also need a lot of heat to achieve this. So it smokes when you lite it and when the fire dies down. But yes dry logs don’t smoke much so you can load it right up
