@@CottagevilleCozies they’ve been listing flawed items themselves. It worries me they may not have rescue boxes. They want to keep all business to themselves. There been ruining 60% sales on their website too.

I have been getting the most gosh awful boxes lately. Got a shoe box yesterday and have maybe two pairs that I can sell for $30. I wrote ThredUp and complained and asked for a refund (lol) but haven’t heard back. When I see other people getting good boxes I think I must have a too negative mindset and so am reaping what I think. Also was thinking maybe it’s due to the fiscal end of the year thing.
Dang I am sorry to hear that!! I think it's def a lot of luck, and I have kind of figured out which boxes are usually the best, for me at least. I have not had good luck with shoe boxes, and i just struggle to sell shoes in general. i am sticking with bulk boxes in the future with very few exceptions!
Do you have any buy sell trade near you that some of the donates could go? I recently took an bag to my BST near me and they took a decent chunk of it and I didn’t have to take the time to list the h&m, old navy, and forever 21.
i honestly don't have any very close to me! based on my experience in the past, i don't think a BST would have taken more than a couple items (i got a bunch that were old/bad shape/tiny little tanks) so i don't think it would be worth it to make a 30+ minute drive
i wish they would hurry up and restock the 25 piece boxes. ive been checking daily cus i feel like they curate them more than the boxes by the pound. you've had such amazing boxes lately!
Never ordered 2nd box . I’m not as brave as you are. Too bad it wasn’t as good as the first one. I was hoping you’ll get awesome brand considering the fact you just moved to a limited thrifting area. Better luck on the next one. ❤
I love the dress you got for yourself! Cute denim jacket. I never find good t-shirts in any of the thrift stores around me. I'm really looking for some good oversized ones, and can never find anything in the women's or men's sections. I did finally find one a couple weeks ago. It's Ghostbusters and it's awesome, so I'm excited about that, but I'm definitely on the lookout for more. Oh my gosh, I LOVE that Free People dress! You found some really great stuff!!!
Your positivity about the items in the box, even the ones that don’t sell well or are flawed is refreshing to see as a fellow reseller. I love ordering from ThredUp and love watching these kinds of videos. But SO many of the people I watch are looking for only things they can sell for at least $30 and complain about what’s in the box. So your videos are a nice change. :)
aw thank you for that! yeah it's tough when reselling is your full time job and you are stressed about making a certain amount of money; i use this income to pay off debt faster/for trips so that takes a lot of the anxiety away haha!

dang!! i am so sorry to hear that. it stinks how hit or miss they can be. i would rather them put a certain amount of average items and a certain amount of higher end ones in each box so you can have a better idea of what to expect
Wow couldnt agree more I have yet to get have as nice a box.... I actually had to complain a bit on my last one, they are going to do a lil bit of a refund but the amount of what they considered reusable is crazy.
it is basically an online thrift store! you can shop for individual items like a regular online clothing store, or you can get a mystery box, which they call rescue boxes!
