20 years, well over 1200 days I have spent in the Serengeti. The Serengeti is my life. Your “subscribe” and “Like” will be bring comfort and strength for me and the lions and the cheetahs who have to endure the blazing sun in their thick fur coats without any air conditioning. Beginning in 2014, the three years of filming brought “Panthera” official nominations from numerous documentary Film Festivals including the WCFF in New York. Here, I have sectioned and uploaded the screening of “Panthera” into short episodes of the Korean TV version with english subtitle ; “Serengeti.”
Big mistake: the Big Five is not an indication of size. The WWF states the term “Big Five” originally referred to the difficulty in hunting the lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and African buffalo. These five large African mammal species were known to be dangerous and it was considered a feat by trophy hunters to bring them home.

They selectively or opportunistically hunt, having an advantage at night, because their eyes are more designed for night vision. Those are biting flies....🙄
He is a wandering lion, and his pride was taken from him. Hope he at least finds enough food to sustain himself. Let’s not escalate climate change any further.

ALL animals are born, live, age and die, it's just a matter of how and when. But so many people today are going on expensive safaris and they don't think they've got their money's worth unless they see a chase, capture and kill and the kills are NOT RAPID, often it takes time and can often be very graphic and cruel looking. Predation is nature's way of keeping her species numbers in balance, but today, Africa is so crowded with humans who have gone there to raise cattle and crops, and KILL THE LOCAL WILDLIFE when they eat the crops and poison the carcasses, which causes a LONG, CRUEL death of the lions that eat the dying, poisoned animals, that are an easy catch. Also, poachers who get huge money sums from black-market buyers are decimating African wildlife almost equally as bad as the ranchers who are infringing on wildlife territory. So that the chance of wildlife young reaching adulthood is becoming close to nil. Numbers of wildlife like lions and elephants, are being cruelly killed by poachers OR they have lost territory due to the humans raising crops and cattle, so that African wildlife has DIMINISHED ALARMINGLY in the last 6o years or so, to the point that the African wildlife will be all gone in a few more decades. African safaris are a HUGE business now, and there is NO privacy for the wildlife anymore because the safaris with ATV's can drive into the remotest bush now, and all the clients want to witness a KILL! Wildlife USED TO BE WARY of humans, but carnivores must eat to live and the safaris get so close to the wildlife that it is CONDITIONING them to be unwary of humans today. LOST TERRITORY due to human encroachment, and poachers for the black-market, has vastly diminished the number of beautiful wildlife in Africa, which is a tragedy, because they will be all gone in the near future.
