Would have liked to see the more complicated parts of cutting the fabric. Also she skipped the part about how to gather the fabric so would be very confusing if you didn’t already know how to do it.
Thank you so much z how easy did you just make this taking away the mystery and confusion I can proceed with my square blanket now with confidence as the seaming technique was holding me back 🙏👏👏👏
Thanks for such a clear instructions, I'll definitely be giving this a go. Can you use acrylic paints to colour in after? Or different ink if you want to use water color paints?
Am currently doing the same thing. What I did was measure 15” from waist down and using my grainline or fold line as reference, I draw an horizontal straight line across from Center front (and Center back) to the side, cut them apart add insert my extra 10”…that way, am able to conserve my hemline Good luck with it 😊
Great video! Really helped me, I bought my first pattern last weekend and when I opened it, I was sooooo lost. Feel a lot better now so thank you so much!
Thank you for the tip for holding the needle! I'm currently starting with some long needles and I wasnt sure how to hold them properly because of their length.
When demonstrating the difference in crease, it would have been VERY helpful to set them crease-up side-by-side on a flat service, instead of waving them around so that the camera never actually has a chance to focus on the crease.
I am an American who was taught by an English lady, but the arm tucking is new to me. I also urge knitters to choose a posture and chair that are comfortable, good lighting, etc. Just as important as patterns and stitches.
I knit like this since my mum learned me knitting when I was 6. I still do it this way. The only difference is that we knitt with both needles under both arms.
Thanks for showing the mattress stitch running up the side where there are chains. I have a garment with lots of 3 and 4 stitch turning chains on the sides and was insecure about how to seam them.
Thankyou Annabel ,for this excellent selection of videos, I can see you've put a lot of time and effort into creating these superb video tutorials, hopefully now I can pass on this work to my craft club members,,WELL DONE..
What is the brand of fabric shears were you using? It looked like Parveen but I can not find? I like that they are shorter length and thicker. Thank you
@@SharkLizard you can make honey or maple syrup ones with water, extract, and gelatin. That's as healthy as they are going to get and they will cost more money. I was a crunchy mom and made them for my children once. I dusted them with cocoa powder. They were easy and delicious.
