Rooted in Hong Kong, Sunshine Nursery Rhymes promotes Cantonese nursery rhymes with covering classic and writing new nursery rhymes.
In the past decades, due to globalisation and China's influence, Cantonese nursery rhyme were marginalised in HK. Children grow up with songs like "baby shark", "Daddy Finger". Under such context, we have an urge to revive Cantonese nursery rhymes, to help shaping children’s sense of Cantonese since toddler age, and lead them to authentic HK Cantonese vocabulary and cultures.
The 70s 80s nursery rhymes are not just good music, they teach children the important matters of life such as 'savour the moment' , 'find your dreams', 'not to be a sour loser'. We would love to learn from the classics and continue to write meaningful songs for our kids. We hope our songs can brings good values and a happy childhood to the children.
