I'm curious to know if you use these teas topically just as a rinse or a leave-in as well (on protective styles)? Also, can MSM be added and effective in tea rinses?
I love that you showed adding the conditioner to the underside back of your hair. I always forget to add product to this area and it’s the most vulnerable part of my hair.
Hey Elle, yes I get that. I feel like the back of my hair in general doesn’t get as much moisture as the front I’m working on that too. Thanks so much for watching 🤍
Chi Chi you are absolutely gassing me up lol. Thank you so much for all the support! And for commenting on so many videos. Thanks for rocking with me. I know I have been away from RU-vid the last few weeks, but just posted a video today. Lmk if there’s any videos you want me to do or any topics to cover in my videos. Thank you queen 🥰
Hey. I’m just a girl too. Lol BUT I will say maybe start doing length measurements when with the twist. ❤️ as you will be measuring almost straighten hair.
That’s a good suggestion. I just took my twists out. Wore them for a good two months after taking recording this video. I just have to be patient. I know the results will come!
Hey jessica nice video! So i have dreads and im starting to have alopecia on the top of my head. I wanted to know for people with dreads, should i use the first example that uve shown in the video + doing the pre-poo treatment before going to the shower or i can only use one of these techniques and ill be fine? Please let me know!!!!
Hey! Thanks so much for watching. I appreciate it. I definitely would say to try out Batana oil as a pre-poo and scalp oil that you leave in as well. If you are experiencing alopecia, try spraying some rosemary water on the spot (I have a video on this too) then applying the oil. Also try gentle scalp massages, low tension styles with your locs, and look up DHT blockers. Hope this helps. Happy Sunday!!
Thank you very much for explaining how to use Batana (solidified) oil. I just received my jar from Dr. Lyfe. I was afraid to use it every other day because it said to leave on for 30 to 60 minutes, then wash your hair or leave it in overnight for best results.
Literally just binge watched all your youtube videos ❤cant wait for you to post , im a recent subscriber and just saying i love all your videos very imformative
Aww thanks so much! I’ve been super busy lately. But I will try to upload this Sunday. Thanks so much for tuning in! And let me know if you want me to create any videos on anything 🤍
My hair is a bit shorter than yours and I just received my Batana oil. The goal is waist length hair by this time next year. My growth has kinda hit a plateau and I’m retaining my length, but no more growth. Hopefully this is the boost I need. I’ve been natural since 2017 and this is the healthiest my hair has ever been🥰 do you ever use heat or wear your hair straight?
I feel like my hair hit a plateau earlier this year. But I do feel like sometimes it’s hard to tell with my shrinkage. I hope you find a breakthrough soon. I have only worn a wig once. I rarely use heat on my hair. I may change that in the future. As of right now I have only straightened. My natural hair once. I’ve been natural since 2016. Cut my hair a couple of time
