Hi! I'm Amethil. I like playing immersing, story heavy games. I get way to attached to characters easily and cry way to often if something happens to them. Fairly new to recording gameplay but trying my very best!
This is a lgbt+ safe space and hate is not tolerated.
I don't know why people are saying the new mic sounds great. I don't know anything about audio, so I can't say for sure the problem is the mic, but your audio does not sound good. It sounds like you're talking through a blanket. No offense - I'm enjoying your playthrough.
Nintendo Direct was mid. Some nice new games but overall not as hype. Mario RPG fans are eating though, first Super Mario RPG remake late last year, Paper Mario TYD remake last month and now a new Mario & Luigi game later this year.
I think the 2nd half was pretty good! New zelda game, dragon quest remakes and Metroid 4 (though I never played one before). I've never really been much into Mario, but it seems like Mario fans always get served in every direct. Like atleast a 3 course meal haha.
The new mic sounds great! And you're doing great on the playthrough. Fun fact, the first Portal had an achievement to knock all the cameras off the walls.
I like the new Microphone: I'll bet you don't have to sit so close to this one to get a good register. If you're trying to use a Playstation controller, that may be what's throwing off your mic settings (mine does that with some games). Mess around with your sound settings so that your new one is set to "default". Thanks for the playthrough btw 😄
Ha I was sitting on the edge of my seat each time for sure. Yea I do use a ps5 controller, but good to know, I'll check the settings. Thanks for watching!
This game is set 10 years after inquisition. I highly recommend reading the books because half the companions are in tevinter nights and the missing. Lucanis is an antivan crow, Neve is a mage from tevinter, Emmerich is apart of the mortalitasy in Nevarra. These companions are apart of different factions which makes them different from one another. Bellara is apart of the veil jumpers which are a group of people dedicated to their cause and the faction was introduced in the comic the missing. Hope that helps a little
I heard a bit about that! I'm definitely checking those out. And maybe even make some videos about them idk. Currently reading the book about Celene which is set before inquisition.
@@Raisedbybats The masked empire is awesome. I'm still reading the last book, tevinter nights. I have a lot of theories that by far have not been wrong but these open up the door to more theories. I'm just really excited to get answers and play the game
In a lot of videos of people reacting to the dragon age trailers they are complaining about Varric’s being darker and not blonde. I looked up the reason why that might be and here’s what I think the developers are going with. as one grows older, the melanocytes can become more active, leading to the production of more melanin and, consequently, darker hair.
Happened to me to! I mean I dye my hair now but my natural hair is a dark blonde, but I used to be platinum as a kid! I think it's more rare for it to happen much later in life, but in varrics case it might also be because he's graying.
Since I play Dragon Age for story and lore, I am much more optimistic than I was a few months ago. I've thought there was a good chance the game would never come out.
These jumps are really boring and tiring... I always play a dwarf in DA but these moves aren't really compatible with the race.. Where the pary and the dodge ?..
I mean let’s be honest here, nothing will compare to the original. The voice acting felt genuine, but also dreamy. I think that’s why it felt off, because of the dream like feel to the game. That and there were boundaries in the game, but hey that’s old video games for ya😂 But Angela doesn’t seem that bad. I do prefer the other version, but I never fully judge until I play the game through in and through out. People judge too much. People these days act like they are working for rotten tomatoes😂
I fully agree with your statement. You can't judge a game too much by it's trailers. It's just such a short time. And rotten tomatoes haha, sure seems like everyone's a critic these days.
@@RaisedbybatsLovely to have someone else agree, thank you! I feel like people judge too much these days, before trying something. Whatever happened to “can’t knock it til you try it”? I’m personally excited! I hope it’s successful, so we can get more of Silent Hill remakes!
BioWare is in serious trouble. This game has been in development for nine years, which means the budget is likely well north of $200 million. Adding marketing on top of that, this game will need to sell 6-8 million copies just to break even. Even “mixed” reactions could be a death sentence.
Hmm well they haven't been working full time on this game for those 9 years. A lot of that was spend in front of the drawing board. But your point still stands. I think people might just still warm up a little to this game. But we'll see.
It's nothing like the Dragon Age: Origins I started playing in 2009, but I think it's a game I'm going to enjoy; just like I enjoyed DA2 and DAI (and Mass Effect 1, ME2, ME3 - and even Andromeda though not as much as the previous three). And when I want to have that Origins gameplay feel again I can replay Origins or sink another few hundred hours into Baldur's Gate 3.
@@supergirlvideoclips894 Sadly, Larian is not making a BG4, they have said they are done with the franchise and like... I get it considering who is in charge of that franchise
Personally I felt disappointed. They've moved far away for the combat and art style of Inquisition and I'm not sure how I feel about that. Varric also looks like an Dwarf version of Blackwall but older haha.
@@supergirlvideoclips894 nope, not hate just my humble opinion.I am an gamer - when an character is made bad is bad or bad design. If you are an gamer you like somenthing, you buy and write an review. If don't like you let dev's to fix it or tell them your opinion about that character. Is just an opinion, have an great day !
Which character are you talking about specifically? Or just all of them? I thought some looked really badass and had some interesting little details to their outfits.
there are goo things and bad things. i honetly have doubts about combat. Too much jumping, even for basic attacks. I need to see PC UI..i don't want a wheel, i want a toolbar on the bottom with more than 3 abilties. I need to see the inventory too... Too soon to judge.
I think the pc will have a toolbar again, and I think they confirmed you get more abilities available as you progress! I'm curious about the inventory too.
I think there is more to see in future content. This is only a little tese, there holding back the finished product until the release date is announced. Can't wait 🧙♂️
@@Raisedbybats buy the way I liked your pod cast on dragon Age the veil guard, thanks for your comment. I can't wait to play this game. I think we waited so long for this. I want the game to do well.
Overall I’m far more confident after seeing the actual gameplay. Some of the re-designs and writing leave a bit to be desired; However, I’m really looking forward to going back to the Dragon Age world!
I doubt this game the graphics are kinda like Diablo that gameplay looks cool lol I hate it I have inquisition you just have to push 1 button Over and over again It was just like right click right click for dragon each inquisition
Yeah that's one of my biggest let down in inquisition. Especially playing a tanked out warrior. You just stand in front of an enemy and press a button as soon as a cooldown ended. The combat now looks far more engaging.
@@Raisedbybats idk what you are smoking but i dont wanna have any of it. tanks in dragon age have always been pretty boring to play, thats why you could setup your teammates to that job. you have 8 skills to use in DAI... 8!. if stamina was your issue you could use a sigil for double that stamina and depending on class you chose there were several ways to reduce cooldown and or stamina regen as well. that you pick the most boring class is your own fault, but dont go blame the game for that. maybe you shouldve picked a more active class like mage, or rogue. rogue dual wield slices through enemies from the front to get behind them for a flank attack to follow up by several other attacks to your liking, including putting a group to sleep, to follow up by either a massive dmg dealing single target ability or to whipe out that entire group by yourself with a multiple attack ability to detonate your own combo. the possibilities were crazy in DAI next to those 8 skills, you had many more abilities you couldn even use at the same time, so you had more than enough to chose from, + sigils to match your needs, and on top of that there were fade touched materials to finish and match your build...like what the actual f....
@thedawn-rt9rx take a breath my guy, I still love inquisition and it's not that serious. I've played all different classes. Still doesn't change my opinion that the combat felt less engaging as the other games. It's not an issue of stamina regen (i almost never ran out) just that it feels more static watching the enemies hp sometimes slowly go down while you're just standing there. The many abilities were pretty nice though 👌
@@Raisedbybats im just stumped, i dont recognize anything youre saying here and i played DAI like 5 to 7 times, enemy mages were always putting those glyphs on the ground, giving barriers to their swordsmen, teleporting away from you if you would get too close, those knights were always charging at me to knock me down or my allies, those terror demons were always jumping and knocking me and my allies over, the wisps always used barrier and were shooting and targeting me and if you would walk up to them they would side step, the shade demons were always following, just to name a few. enemy AI was pretty damn responsive imo, and especially with that trial on walk softly to counter this every class had abilities to either get close and personal to enemies or to pull them from far away straight in your face to fight them mage has (upgraded) fade step rogue had hook and tackle and warrior had grappling chain all these were to engage into combat, kinda makes me wonder if theres a diffirence in how the AI behaves when you up the difficulty cause i always played on nightmare with trials on
@@supergirlvideoclips894 just stating my opinion of the game so far just like you have. Are you offended because I have a different opinion? The gameplay looked absolutely terrible.
i think it looks great! the dragon age style and characters seem all there, the combat is really the only big change (which honestly has never been DA’s strongsuit). Instead opting for the fun gameplay of mass effect (which everyone loves).
@@SirBadgerOP i dont think so, im seeing just as many people loving the look of this game as much as people hating it. I think it comes from resentment over their past mistakes.
What is good: Atmosphere Song Story Graphics What is bad: Angela's face was stung by bees Maria is Normal and not Slutty and flirty anymore Nurses doesn't show James's desire and mental issues And at last i think sweet baby made James gay
I don't know why many people are very strict with the game, the truth is that for me it is a great game with what they showed in gameplay and I feel that many people will enjoy it too much, I feel that the community is a bit strict and the truth is that I feel that with what they are showing us is to compete directly with the last of us.
Probably because of nostalgia. In everyone's mind the original was near perfect. So It's difficult to compete with that. People will tear down any remake in favor of the original no matter how good the remake ends up being. I'm feeling perrty good about it though.
I can safely say to you that you've played/watched the best ones. SH Origins and Shattered Memories were nice but not nearly as good as the first four games. Homecoming, Book of Memories and Downpour, well... let's not talk about those. Anyway, i'm very excited for this remake! Silent Hill 2 is my favorite horror game of all time and, although it needs to address some issues until it's launch, i think it looks promising!
Compared to other games definitely. But Silent Hill never really had good combat to begin with, so this actually looks relatively smooth for a Silent Hill game. It's okay in my opinion, it's not the focus of the game anyway and James is just a regular dude.
you can play the original on pc! it's called "silent hill 2 enhanced edition" you can google the name for their website these people modded the game so it supports modern PC's 👍
That's cool! I personally love the PlayStation 2 experience as I'm more of a console player. But a pc version is more convenient for sure. And I can imagine there are probably some cool mods for it too.
@@Raisedbybats you can play it with controller too and the modders ported files from the console version into the pc version. i played it with my brother on the first xbox console back in 2006 i think. last year i tried the enhanced edition and its exactly the same how i remembered the only difference now was that i could experience the game on ultra-wide which i could not before so that was awesome.
Yea seems like people are really upset about Angela. I don't think she looks that bad. Just needs a little bit more work is all. And Laura's expressions are indeed my favourite out of all of them.
