In 1997, Yoshi's was invited by the Port of Oakland to relocate to Jack London Square as part of a plan to revitalize the area. Together with Morimoto Architects, Yoshi's built an award-winning 330-seat jazz club with a state-of-the-art sound system and design. Occupying 17,000 square feet in the heart of Jack London Square, the club is in it's tenth year in that location which has become one of the East Bay's greatest destinations.
Yoshi's San Francisco is located in The Fillmore District, the "Heart and Soul" of the City, and remains San Francisco's destination spot for live music and fine dining. Designed by award winning architect Mori Moto, Yoshi's San Francisco location opened in 2007. Residing in the Fillmore Heritage Center at 1330 Fillmore St., this 28,000 square-foot, two-story, state-of-the-art live music club and upscale Japanese restaurant features the best of local, national and international performance artists.

i just wanted 2 add that i was supposed to be born on valentines day but i came a little early February 5th 1972 so i could clean up and prepare or usher in the spirit of love. i had to shuvvel alot of dung this year because of my disobedience my illness brought shame to my parents and brother but through everything i never stop pleading for JESUS TO FIX ME to make me good. this has been my prayer every since i was a little girl and hit my head on bricks apple tree in my parents backyard and
i have been a woMAN down for the last 7 yrs with a calcified penal gland high on maryjane and morphene which had the same effects as heroin. & i had the same nod. i could bend backwards in slow motion without falling and turned into a wimpy christian if it were not for my child i would not be alive. instead of getting stronger when i was tried i became weary. this january i listened to Bishop Bob Jackson of ACTS FULL GOSPEL & got off that dope so i could make my 4yr old little girl proud.
So cool to see the real Arturo Sandoval... saw a movie depicting his life several years ago and he definitely had it rough. Great music! Lots of heart.
If i ever make it over to the States, Your club is the first thing on my list of places to go. Sweet sounds great music, Thanks for the posts. All the best from Australia.
Thank you for posting this. It brings back fond memories, I was there, front row. I have seen Pat play many times and at several small venues. This is the best sound I have ever heard him get. He doesn't usually use a Marshall bottom (since this gig I have seen more video of him in Europe using two though). When I got home I bought a Clarus and a Mashall 4X12 inspired by this sound.
Great music...!!! It´s a pleasure to hear once and again, your music grows and grows. Thanks. i was your interpreter for a clinic you did in Argentina for Sonor Drums back around 1995 more or less, Then you were touring with Keith and Gary. Roy Elder
What do you expect from Benny Green, who was Oscar Peterson's close friend and protoge backed by Tommy Flanagan's rhythm section? The future of jazz is in good hands!
