@@interactivehero5004 they are hiking shoes but i feel a bit less geared towards performance and more towards aesthetics. It’ll get the job done but theres definitely better options.
@DevinZhuang I just copped the black pair half a size up from my regular UK size. I want something that fits my style which these do but I'm worried I'll mess them up during hikes and waste my money to be honest... durability wise can they cope?
Recommended sizing for the speedcrosses? I'm a tts 9, sometimes 9.5 in sneakers if they're incredibly snug (eg. Nike Mountain Fly GTX). In regular Salomons I'm a true 9 but I had to half up/full up in all my 11bybbs ones.
Really just depends on the shoe model, as far as the speedcross goes in my experience it fits true to size. The Bamba 5s sizing is the only one that is weird.
@@DevinZhuang Tried one pair of Bamba 5s and 2 highs each. Needed half up on the 2 highs, needed a full size up on the 5s. They weren't even close to "snug" - just flat out the incorrect size.
@@DevinZhuang Have the outsoles held up okay? I’m reading a lot of people say that because they’re trail running shoes they won’t last long used on pavement/urban dwelling
@@serapheogen Depends a bit as well, everyday use I’d imagine they would get worn down quick in an urban setting. Mine I’ve worn maybe once a week for the past year or so and they’ve held up with minimal wear on the soles.
@@DevinZhuang Def not every day but I didn’t want to have to baby them either the couple times a week I did wear them, esp if I’m going for an 11bybbs pair I’m sure they’ll be alr a couple days a week light walking for a few hours. Wouldn’t be road running or anything
Randomly stumbled upon this video, and man I immediately had to get that kapital 1st jacket. Took me a while to find someone who sold it, but so worth it
