14:13 (Germany): Actually the "Fernsehturm" (with antennas; English name: TV Tower (?)) is over 300m (318?) tall, but I don't know if it counts as a building in this video. So it'd be 2nd actually.

3:53 honestly I hope that the tallest tower would be the crystal tower (just put yourself in the centre in Google Street view and you'll see what I mean)

11:35 Sorry, but according to the docs and such, the antenna is actually an architectural part of the buildings, and not as you say, removable. You are applying the rules a bit inconsistently, considering in the case of Milan you did give it the height of the antenna. Btw, I do appreciate the skill you have in building these. Too bad minecraft's golden time is over.

I understand as a Dutchie you want your dunk on Belgium but what I think you missed and makes the Zuidertoren more interesting is how it's sitting on a relatively thin stalk visible on the bottom. It has 100% on curtain walls and an open floor plan and likes to show off these modernist ideals with this (the building dates from the sixties). The stalk rests on huge pumps so the building can be adjusted when it would start to lean. I don't think it's that boring.
@BaroBuilder
@BaroBuilder 16 дней назад
That's a really interesting way to look at it, and with those things in mind there is indeed a lot more to it. Just based on the look of the building though, it is simply one of the more uninspiring in this video in my opinion. Especially when comparing it to some of the beautiful architecture found throughout the rest of Belgium.

Danggg great job man! Could you consider building Hotel "Crystalico" in the city of Tuzla, what-would-be one of the tallest buildings in Europe if the construction wasn't halted due to political instabilities in Bosnia. There are s ton of reference images and videos online. Just a suggestion, keep making these great videos 😃!

Fernsehturm of Berlin is the tallest building in Germany with 386m which makes it the second tallest in Europe
@BaroBuilder
@BaroBuilder 16 дней назад
This video only considers "buildings" with most of their height as usable floors. So towers like the one in Berlin and the Eiffel tower don't qualify. Several other countries would otherwise also have a tower as their tallest structure. I will make a similar video on all of those one day as well!😊

What's funny about the last building is that it might not hold the title of tallest building in North America for long, because a new tower is being constructed called the Legends Tower. If it completes construction, it will be the tallest building in the USA and in North America. Guess where it is being built? I bet most people said New York City, or L.A, or Chicago, or any American megacity, but no. Instead it's being built in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. A city with about 600K residents. The funniest thing is that it isn't even being built in the downtown of the city, it's being built in a Bricktown area around the downtown. Honestly I really hope the construction goes through because it would be really funny to have all of these magnificent tall buildings in so many different megacities across over 20 countries, and then have the tallest of them on the entire continent quietly be sat on the outskirts of a medium sized city in the middle of Oklahoma. Also I live just about 100 miles away in Tulsa, so It would be a really cool thing to brag about that my home state has the tallest building in North America, and I would be able to immediately go see it! Also tallest buildings in every African country would be a sick video tbh

It's me again. Thank you, for acctually including Lithuania, since it get's most left out. I've got to say, that the highest building in Lithuania is the Vilnius Television Tower standing at 326,4 m. It is even higher than the Eiffel Tower.
@BaroBuilder
@BaroBuilder 21 день назад
You are right! I even visited Vilnius and also went on the Television Tower last year. It really is a beautiful city! But the reason it's not in this video is that the TV tower is not considered a "building" as most of its height is not usable. Same reason why the Eiffel Tower also isn't on this list. Hope that explains it a bit!😊

Truly stunning builds but go with architectural height OR with roof height in all of the towers. Don't mix and match please. #justiceforvarso
@BaroBuilder
@BaroBuilder 21 день назад
I did try to strictly use architectural height for all buildings. That's why almost no antennas are counted. With the Varso tower, however, it's not very clear. The source I used said it was fully removable and therefore not architectural. But now many, many polish viewers have pointed out that it actually is considered an architectural part of the structure. And if so, it should indeed have counted. So I'm really sorry about that one😅
