You can but they’re going to break down very quickly. If you buy these for sparring, I recommend only using them to spar and they will last a lot longer.
I use this facegear a lot. It is not very secure and it tends to slip (granted, my head is quite small). The main issue is that my nose touches the nose bar and when i get hit in the nose, my nose feels its 100%. The nose bar doesn’t really save your nose, unlike other face savers.
Just started boxing. does anyone know why he chose to keep his hands so low and his chin exposed so much? I see it often and wonder if its just the style of boxing he prefers.
yeah its completely style based. if helps with keeping the center of mass lower so that i can move my body easier. When the center of mass is lower to the ground then the whole body move together with the legs easier. but this also opens you up to getting hit more so you have to have very quick feet in order to make this style effective.
Your style looks similar to mine. Some suggestions: Learn both southpaw and orthodox confuse the opponent with mixed footwork and unpredictable movements into weird angles. Watch Dmitry Pirog.
i trained half a year at the gym but i also had experience in other martial arts sparring like taekwondo so i had a lot of useful experience. I would say I had several years of experience overall.
hi this was great, u were obviously the sharper fighter here! I'm not a serious boxer so take this with a grain of salt. Perhaps, you could use more body shots right from the start, mix it up: jab, up jab, pawing jab, body jab, lead hook (just like Floyd!)
@@ALLENTOWNPA610 the “pro” or “elite “ everlast gloves I purchased new 14oz felt perfect immediately..and still do..perhaps down the road I may try them again ❤🇨🇦🥊🥊
This head gear will interfere with the ability to see kicks because it blocks some visibility from the lower body. Things like upper cuts will also be harder to see. It’s not impossible to see but it makes it more difficult.
Hi bro!Im 73 kg and my face is slim with sharp jawline and cheekbones my head is small also. This is will be my first headgear and i will be not able to try it.Which size will be good for me S or M?For this headgear and other.
I don't have much sparring or ring experience but I've been practicing on my own - I think you should throw more feints as he was biting on them well. You didn't feint very much. But otherwise, you dominated every aspect of this fight, hats off to you. 👏 You got a nice left hook too!
It’s funny because the reason I was so relaxed is because in my first fight I went crazy and had an adrenaline dump so I never wanted to feel that fatigued again.
might be late but you should keep that right hand up especially, i used to have it glued to my chin and i cannot count how many times i accidentally blocked a shot by it jut being there, but otherwise keep up the work man :)
All need is 20 seconds did okay however learn how to throw a jab correctly keep hands up because low hands will become a Habit and do bag drills and 5 punch combos on the bag to increase speed because your slow
WELL I LEARNED NOT TO CHASE A GUY WHOS RUNNING AWAY CONSTANTLY. IF THEY REFUSE TO INITIATE OR ENGAGE THEN SIMPLY DISENGAGE ALSO AND FORCE THE REF TO GIVE US BOTH A WARNING FOR NOT FIGHTING. IM NOT GOING TO BE THE ONE TRYING HARD TO CATCH A GUY WHO IS RUNNING AWAY FROM ME AND END UP LOSING BECAUSE IT TAKES MORE SKILL AND ENERGY TO CHASE THAN TO RUN AWAY. SO ID RATHER BOTH OF US JUST GET DISQUALIFIED FOR LACK OF ACTION.
This is an amateur boxing match, not a street fight and not a professional fight. If someone one is “running away” you don’t “chase them” you’re supposed to cutoff the ring.
@@illuminatedperspectives2894 I disagree. The whole idea behind cutting off the ring is to avoid chasing someone and to conserve your energy by positioning yourself better to prevent your opponent from escaping laterally
@@brazianreviews2232 You can disagree all you want but that dosnt change the fact that its harder to cut the ring off and catch a guy whos running than it is for him to run. Thats why i refuse to do it. if a guy is running im just gonna stand in the middle of the ring and do nothing. im not chasing nobody. the ref will stop the fight because the other guy is running
@@brazianreviews2232 If a guy is runnin you cant really fight him or use anything you trained for. if u chase he has the upper hand because all he has to do is throw shots out and most liekly they will land because you are backing up and runnign and the guy trying to catch u is coming forward. its harder to slip and atack while coming forward than it is to do going backwards
@@brazianreviews2232 took me like 50 fights until I finally really understood and learned how to go to the body and be effective. Look goof forward only your second amateur bout. You most have enough sparring to be that effective. Either that or a good enough coach. Too me a long time to really learn how to box.
2:10 b:tch smacked him with that quick right hand. Made his leg pop out from under him. Good work for the second fight. Took me to get to 30 fights to look that good.
