I had same issue with rear brakes . But I finally figured it out. I put a vacuum pump on the bleeder and pulled the air out . Then I bleed the brakes and now I have perfect rear brakes.
Did this rear diff work in the long run? I am in the process of replacing my plastic gears with metal right now. I had the entire rear end out, and when I put all back togther the gears were very tight and wont spin by hand. Every video I have watched, nobody even checks how the gears mesh.
The motor spins freely in mine but the horn isn't moving (spline/horn is okay). Took the top part of the servo off, gears are intact, just no connection to the motor. Any ideas?
Definitely wouldn’t try 3S, Pretty sure mine is a 60amp though it looks Exactly the same. It made my Rustler Scream.... Motor gets hot pretty quick with stock gears & Really Big Back tires that give me wheelies on demand. It’s worked for me for at least 3 years now, no problems. I don’t drive long but do max it out.
OMG I got the exact same motor and put it into the same car and it broke in the same area I think those BL motor are trash .. I've managed to get a 7700kv motor on Amazon for £20
It’s most definitely an exc even have the rego papers 😆 was used as a road registered bike but when I brought it I wanted an eduro bike so removed all the unnecessary stuff
how many teeth dose the motor gear have i had a 30 and was pretty good but wanted more top end so i tryed a 26 teeth motor gear and it seems fast of the mark now lol so i think i need a 32 or 34 maybe ps the motor is 3300kv and 60amp esc also my buggy is the same HSP xstr
I have a Kyosho RC Surfer. Steering worked great for about 3 go outs. Saltwater surfing, but always rinsing with fresh water. Batteries all good. Propeller works fine. Just no steering. Would gears really be a problem?
I like the straps on the shocks idea. Reminds me I did that on a real car a long time ago, using u bolts to pre-compress the springs down and lower the 🚗.
I really enjoyed watching this video. I'm getting ready to install the same Motor and ESC into my 1/10 scale Sunfire and this gives me excellent insight into what I can expect. Most likely I will just run on a 2s and maybe just do a quick speed run on 3s. The GoolRC setup is dirt cheap so I think it will be a good upgrade from the stock brushed motor that came with the car. Thanks for sharing your experience with us and taking the time to do temp checks on the electronics. Awesome stuff 💯👍
Thanx for the video! I need help PLEASE. Brand new 959 that I got , but I cant control it. I switch on the radio and the LED blinks red and green. I switch on the car (Battery is full) and the ESC light just blinks. From there nothing happens at all. When I touch the remote , its LED will be constant green , but the ESC still flashes and no control over the car. ( I have left the car on and red-green flashing for minutes on end with no success) That am I doing wrong
So I'm confused I had bought for 75 bucks what i originally thought was an hpi but upon posting in a hpi forum someone told me it was a kyosho dbx which it looked correct until I seen your video!! How and what are the differences between this and a dbx
