Lovely car, well driven, nice video. Normally I am not a fan of music with car (I just want to hear the car), but here, very well done with exactly the right track. I attended Macleod High School in 1969/70, and a Mrs. Webb was the canteen manager, and her son Mick (famed Ford engine builder) used to turn up occasionally in an XW GT/HO at lunchtime to see his mum. Always drew a crowd, the schoolboy dream car.
What a great GT Music Video, (GTMV), fantastic. I love my GTs but first time I heard that song so thanks for introducing me to Tim McMorris, Forever in Time, I added it to my play list.
Ive driven every gt there is. Ive owned afew replicas and been in hundreds of them. Off all the gt,s ever made the one that was the most exciting by a huge distance was the xw phase 1. It was perfect because of the all round throttle response. No other gt had that. Not the phase 2 definitely not the phase 3 which is in my heart and not the early xr or xt and even though the xa and xb drove the best and were the best gt ever made the phase 1 was the most fun and exciting. None of the gt falcons come even close. This is not a personal preference but a fact
Looks like a blast. Hey, 5 or 6 speed, and what diff ratio ? Im just about to start screwing an na barra together just for winton track days. Id really appreciate your advice
These cars were new in my final year at school. The kids used to talk about them all the time. My first car back in 1973 was a diamond white XW, a bit rare because it was a 302 with 3 on the tree.
could I use one of those stationary engines to hook to a generator to supply my house with electricity? and where do you get parts to fix one of these old stationary engines?
I visited Pakistan last year, there was a vintage automobile rally, it was very good and I was so surprised to see this rally, I have never seen such a beautiful rally in my whole life. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9EdNn0y7R-A.html
