Thanks ! Just changed mine . Just the cover that is held by 2 plastic screws wouldn't come out so easly as yours ... As it was pinched by some plastic ...
After doing so much research.. everyone recommended to get wix engine air filter .. I went and got my self two, surprise surprise made in China 🤦♂️ Any explanation why your product is made in China now ?
I'm not sure if the placement of this filter is a daft design, maybe there was just no other way to position it. Every brand and model has some part which is a pain to access. Anyway, great video! I couldn't do the method in which you just wiggle your hand in and wiggle the filter out. It was all to tight. I was also confronted with a posi-drive screw head, not a 5.5mm nut. I purchased the upholstery tools (a must) and followed the video. Actually, not as daunting as it first appeared. Took me no more than an hour, but I'm sure I'll speed up next time.
Yes, unfortunately, there are many cars where the placement of the cabin filter is, to say the least, inconvenient. 😕 But we’re glad you managed to install it despite the challenge. 💪 It’s great to hear that our video was helpful. Feel free to rely on us in the future! And if you’re ever looking for a video guide for another car, don’t hesitate to check out our channel. 😊
Replacing this filter on the previous generation Grand Picasso 2010 is much simpler. On this new generation, the engineers made replacing the filter ten times more complicated.
It's hard to disagree with that. 😕 When it comes to the difficulty of replacing a cabin filter, the installation in the second-generation C4 Picasso definitely earns a spot on the podium in our rankings.
Difficult job to do and possibility of breaking some parts if you are not handy/DIY type of guy. small tips: 1- the light bulb can come out from their base so it is easy to remove connections. I change without removing connections. Once you remove 6 screws( three top, 2 side ways, and 1 inside) of glove comparment and loosen it then You can see the cabinn filter and replaced it with new ones. and put glove compartment back again. 2- for me the annoying part was the small pipe that provide cool air to glove compartment. Because whenever i try put the tighten the glove compartment, the pipe connections break out. I figured out( after 30 minutes)that it can be connected later on when the glove compartment is screwed with all six screws. The pipe can be fixed from the bottom of glove compartment, so it is easy to connect pipe later.
We agree. 👍 This is a heavyweight category filter replacement. Without some experience working on cars, we wouldn’t recommend tackling the cabin filter installation in this vehicle. It’s better to leave it to a professional. 🙂 Speaking of professionals, we truly appreciate your valuable insights. 😊 It’s clear we’re dealing with someone who has faced this filter replacement in this model more than once. 👏
We understand that in cars with such a steering wheel placement, replacing the filter for this model can be quite a challenge. 😕 Thanks for pointing that out. We’ll keep this in mind when preparing the list of cars for future filter replacement video tutorials. 🙂
You're welcome! 😊 We're glad our video could be helpful to you. Remember, you'll find many more filter installation tutorials for other cars on our channel as well. 👍
1) Falta soltar dos torniloos más. 2) El aire fluye justo en la otra dirección, al revés de como se muestra. 3) No ha puesto bien la tapa, primero tiene que entrar en la rendija y luego pivotar.
The direction of airflow is indicated by an arrow printed on the filter. The filter should be installed following the direction of the arrow. However, keep in mind that the print on the filter might differ from what was shown in the video, and the arrow on your filter may look different. Always make sure to install the filter according to the arrow shown on your specific filter. As for your other points, we want to emphasize that the replacement in the video was carried out by a qualified mechanic with experience in car repairs. 🔧 We trust his skills and familiarity with such procedures. Nonetheless, we appreciate your feedback, and we'll strive to ensure even greater precision in our future tutorials. 🙂
So simple to do on a LHD version, now try that on a RHD version. The wiper arms stop you lifting the scuttle panel any higher than 75mm (3" in old money). Just enough room to get your arm in but nothing else.
Thank you, it's great to read something like that! 😍That's exactly why we make our videos: to be genuinely helpful to you. We encourage you to check out other content on our channel, where you'll find filter replacement instructions for many other vehicles as well.🙂
Thank you very much! ❤️ We’re glad the video was helpful to you. On our channel, you’ll also find many other video guides showing the cabin filter installation process for various car models. 😊

We don't sell filters directly. However, on the website wixeurope.com/en/find-a-distributor, you will find a list of official distributors of our products. Simply select the country from which you would like to order a filter, and you will receive a list of our distributors. 🙂
No I’m serious. I have had several different cars. And Renault is by far the car that is most inconvenient to repair. Where did they hide the oil filter? Why is the radiator hose higher up than the reservoir? My father in laws said once; if it would have been legal to put only 3 wheels on the car, then Renault would have done so… But still, great channel!

I went to my local dealer for servicing and when I got home and checked the cabin filter the lazy sods didn't put the screws / pins back. When I phoned and asked them what they did with them they said , we don't know!!!
The replacement shown in our video was carried out by a qualified mechanic with experience in car servicing. We trust his professionalism and recommend the installation method he used. Let's remember that the entire procedure should not only result in a filter replacement but also ensure there is no risk of damaging the car. It must also be safe for the person performing the replacement. 🙂

We are very sorry if our video turned out to be unhelpful for you. 😟 Could you please specify exactly which elements you found incorrect? Your opinion is very important to us. 😊
HOW TO CHANGE THIS FILTER IN 10-15MINS: Lay on the passenger side floor and look up into the top left corner of the footwell, now grab your 5,5mil and ratchet and undo the bolt as seen at 4:00. you should be able tho wrangle the old filter out (it's going in the trash anyway), and with a bit of elbow grease wrangle the new filter(s) in. you're welcome btw
Okay, but what about the rail onto which the filter must be placed? Let's also remember that this involves two filter pieces. Your method sounds a bit risky, but thank you for sharing it with us. Nevertheless, we recommend performing the replacement using the method we presented in the video. Yes, it is more labor-intensive, and yes, it likely takes more time. However, the replacement we recorded was done by a qualified mechanic who did it properly, without risking damage to the vehicle. 🙂
Incorrect airflow direction, The C-HR and many other Toyota models have top-to-down airflow. If you misunderstand the direction Installation of the cabin air filter will also be incorrect.
The direction of the arrow printed on the filter indicates the direction of airflow, and the filter should be installed accordingly. However, please remember that in your particular case, the printing might be different from what is shown in the video. Install the filter according to the direction of the arrow depicted on the product model you have. For this model, the marking placed on the filter frame is also helpful. It indicates the tip of the arrow pointing upwards.

I replaced the cabin filter on a 2017 Nissan Juke. You don't need to remove the glove box or anything else to replace the filter. You don't need any tools either. You just remove the white plastic cover over the cabin filter, pull the tab on the end of the old filter. The filter is larger than the opening so you have to squeeze the new filter in the opening then snap the white cover back on. That's it. It took me 7 minutes.
Totally true, dude! 👍 You do not have to remove anything and don't even need any tools to replace the cabin air filter in a Juke! Do not remove rubber stripping around door or push a mysterious button on side of dashboard. Or take out all the bolts and remove the glove box. So many of these videos are showing way too many unnecessary steps and work. Keep it simple - quick job.
The filter replacement procedure shown in this video was performed by a qualified mechanic with experience in such tasks. There might be a slightly more "roundabout" way to install the filter in this particular vehicle, but based on the mechanic's experience, we aim to present the entire procedure in a way that is as safe as possible for both the car and the person performing the replacement. 🙂 But thank you for your feedback.😊
@@WIXFiltersEurope Just can't believe you have now triple downed your crap video with bad lighting. So glad your professional mechanic was able to change the filter with a bunch of unnecessary steps, but with the poor lighting the newbs can't really see what the heck he's doing. Also glad he stayed safe. You gotta be kidding.
We're not joking. Ensuring that no one gets hurt during filming is a matter we take very seriously. As for the lighting, we're sorry to hear you're not satisfied with its quality. We did our best to shoot and edit the video in a way that clearly and effectively demonstrated the filter replacement procedure. We'll keep your feedback in mind and work even harder to improve the quality in our future instructional videos. 🙂
