That's great, if you drill your holes out the same size as your screw. But any carpenter knows to go a size smaller for house builds. Which involves a lot of reaming cement dust. This guy is bull#$@t.

This strip will also be susceptible to being torn up by a vehicle if it stops or starts on top of the strip. Overall a bad idea that wasn't thought out.
As a kid that worked for my stepfather framing houses, I’m so annoyed we never discovered this technique. I have smashed many fingers and lined up many hangers poorly and always had to do it after the joist was hung
What about the 1st nails won't those be to small to hold that up I get you put in 2 1/2 inch nails but the shorter ones be bad in the long run?? I'm only asking because I don't know how that works
Nice template. My uncle taught me to make templates for many different applications. It sometimes takes longer to make the template but when you go to install it’s a breeze!!!! 40 year contractor
