I don't know how you claim these are the same cymbals. The I series(actually in Avedis family) is much cleaner sounding, less annoying overtones. The ZBT sounds like a metal lid for a kettle, very dry, dark, tinny, and what tones and sustain it does produce are undesirable. The I series is a throwback in sound to the 1970s Avedis series. I know because I've professionally played 70s Avedis for several years due to their clean sound, versatility, and much cheaper cost used, yet there's plenty of survivors from back in the day. And to be honest, after the I series is played for a awhile with some patina buildup, blindfolded you can't tell the difference in overall sound characteristcs between the I Series and the 70s Avedis. In today's new market, the I series is priced much lower than top end cymbals, yet the sound quality is very competitive.
