I am so blessed and I started turning my life back around cause I love God so much and I miss how when I was at new life for Girls cookie ran the place in Dover pa but when we got back people made fun of how much I talked about Jesus and I was so hurt I didn’t understand what was wrong with Just loving Jesus so much and having someone to talk to even when nobody was around I didn’t hear him then but I seen what he had done in so many young women she wrote a book in like the 70s and they stopped smoking and doing drugs anyway you are a blessing I really needed a good Christian family again I have missed severeing God I love y’all and I started getting closer to Christ after I took the 30 day challenge

I was enthralled, Jay! This is a fascinating play. I'm very curious about the taxation aspect, which I think is very use case specific for SaaS models? Or is this something that works in something like an Alibaba? I'm curious too about whether you see the partnership program... highly distributed players...as being the moat against a competing for the continued growth in order to get to the 1T valuations. Would you consider the Salesforce ecosystem a multisided market? That is, a lot of interplay between partners to create unique value offerings?
Thanks Gregory. The big companies are all in federal court right now fighting monopoly power. Apple dropped its app store tax to 15% forcing Google to drop theirs from 30% to 15%. The New York Times actually fought back on the 40% tax on Apple News+. Every major software platform company gets to tax other software on their marketplace - I am arguing that they will start to tax services as well. Remember, this is the very business model of companies such as eBay and Amazon.
@@JayMcBain Thank you for sharing these insights. It's rare to run into someone who understands these models in depth. There's virtually no research or thinking that I've seen (and I have excellent research networks) around the implications of this taxation, or what the governments intentions are. These are very different kinds of monopolies than any historical predecessor . I can't speak for anyone else, but for someone coming from the design side of ecosystems, your insights have been invaluable to me.
From the design side, I see crypto as the way forward to avoid the monopoly issues through a distributed ownership network. This would make it impossible to call a platform model a monopoly, and give the platform itself the loyalty incentives to for those in the partnership program. There's several ways to do this that are grounded in history to model the crypto's characteristics after that would keep the platform protected from government regulation. Currently the political status quo and power have barely an entry level understanding of platform economics. Subsequently, governments have no business meddling the regulation of platforms.
Great information in this video. The slide that "80% report that salespeople are not specialized enough" really stuck out. And the advice to become hyper-specialized all makes sense.
