There are several ways to mod most games, many have in game configurators for mods, however these are rarely the best way, and for that reason Mod Managers exist. There are several popular ones for a variety of games, Vortex by Nexus Mods, NMM as the predecessor to Vortex, Mod Organizer by Tannin, and Wrye Bash by the Wrye Bash Team. NMM and Bash are not very well supported right now, but MO2 and Vortex are, MO2 is being covered already by several bigger channels, so I figured I would cover Vortex instead.
I tried it exactly like you did but I cant get the fire braziers to emit light in some places. ENB Light Mod is just a mess. So I Installed ELFX + Ember XD and changed some lines in my ENB.ini in order to lower the brightness inside interiors: AmbientLightingIntensityInteriorDay=0.7 AmbientLightingIntensityInteriorNight=0.3 That worked for me, it looks good now and that was waaay easyer than finding a fix for the issues with ENB light.

I'm watching all these vids in prep to learn xEdit. You're switching between vortex and MO2 would confuse the crap out of me if I had tried to use this vid to install SKSE.
Trying to install 202X in 2024 but the current installation guide is so vague, I have no clue where to even begin. Wishing they would give better instructions for this mod.
mostly I just find it the simplest option with the most compatibility. it emulates openai chatgpt as well as a1111 webui api so that anything looking for those can be spoofed
Easier to install, doesn't modify stuff on your system (Ollama), doesn't require Visual Studio for cuda (Llamafile), comes with a nice built in interface optimized for fiction tasks. Way better context shifting, wider model support, backwards compatibility with older models, image generation, more sampler options, etc.
yes. 1080 ti is capable of running quite well. not nearly as good as a 3090, but they can run pretty well. with this tool, you would be better off running them as non-sli though as more vram is better than faster processing speed.

I downloaded the mod and had to change the toml file for enable achievements to false. Once I did that I started the game and it say I have no mods . I tried redeploying in vortex and nothing. Could I get some help please?
