I remember the day my dad took me and my sister to see this in theaters. He usually doesn’t like going to theaters, but he said that day was one of his favorites since he loved the film so much. Thanks dad

I like Joy's aura, I think it's blue most of the time (if that's not the case, make me an example). Is she bioluminescent? She always emits light, even in very illuminated places; but is where everything is dark that I love her (light means hope and if there's hope there can also be Joy) 😊
As a beginner in animation and graphic art I adore this! Its awesome how the whole movie (actually both of them) came out. They are not only wonderfully animated, but also have special, true messages and speaks to every one of us. Awesome job.
For me the film's thesis happens right at the start... Joy says "This is Sadness. We don't really know why she is here." That's helped me relate to so many of my friends, and the friends I have not yet made. During the pandemic lockdowns I found myself parroting to a dear friend "They took something away from you that you loved. It's sad. And if you want to cry, then let's do so together. And when we're done we will be ready for what's to come." A brilliant movie. -Frank
