I did this hike clock wise today and I would not recommend anyone going counter clockwise unless you are a skilled mountaineer. The scrambles are pretty scary and I can't imaging going down them. There are times as well that you need to collapse the poles and use your hands. Going clock wise was the best way in my opinion.
What a beautiful ride!! We are going in May 2024, hoping we see this much snow! Who did you book through, and did you do the bus return or round trip? I need to book ours!
That first little drop canyon that you came too, I have forgotten how to get back- but with all my photographs- you missed an awesome set of gylphs down there. Now, I’ll have to do more research onto how to get to that point. Have fun! Would love to know that route again, if you care to share it.

If I want to do the view point only is that same entry? If I'm already in the open meadows I have to go in the right side of the trailer to see that view? Any advice we are not a hiker? Awesome hiked beautiful view by the way 😍. Hopefully we can do this on Friday.
