I am thinking about getting a Chinchilla and a Husky in the future(both males). I wanted to see how Chinchilla's and dog's would act around each other(before I get them). This showed me an idea of how they would. Thank you!!.
Chinchillas are cute and I don't doubt that you are a clean person but I don't understand how can a human calls "a pet" an animal who poop every 30 seconds. This is not a pet, that's a shitmachine!
Very behaved dog, but dogs look like wolves, and chinchillas are natural prey, so I think you know where I’m going with this. Although the dog is really well trained, it’s not really recommended to mix chinchillas and other animals.
You shouldn’t introduce a chinchilla and a dog together. They are prey animals and a dog is a predator. Yes the dog maybe we’ll behaved right now but that last run by the chinchilla did the dog tried catching him. If that chinchilla died cuz of the dog. It’s not the dogs fault it’s yours. The dog was being instinctual
Crazy...all my dogs have caught rats before...so I don't think I could ever try this with my LiL furry Friend...maybe...they chase lizards but never hurt mine when they get out...i dont know...either way Very Good Dog.
After watching chinchilla videos I'm happy to have a ferret! BTW, I have been to the last place in the world where chinchillas still live in the wild. They are extremely cute - but can you house train them? Please don’t give your dog access to your chinchilla as they are prey animals and it can stress them out a lot even if your dog is the nicest pet in the world
