Love Hesse, this was a very fun match. The map is big enough that flanking is viable, but the zones are spaced just enough so that narrow play threatens about as many zones as flanking does, so it feels like both playstyles are even
11th is more fun without air rush. This is like going all in on a poker game. Wishing for luck, rather then using any proper skill tbh. Anyway, this is warno, airplanes can do ahead of infantry line. 😅
@CrispiestRiver0 because most of players expect a more sense starting line up. I mean, who goes in battle with planes ahead with no intel. Imo planes should start on second tick, as it is more common sense.
For it to be a real fortitude fence video two things need to happen, 1st there has to be an A-10 and the 2nd one he has to drop his microphone before he starts speaking hahahahaha
The CEWIs are pretty much only good for their ground radar, they should always be on return fire, you should try to drop them on a flank and hike them through a forest to spy on the back of the enemy position for your artillery & bombers. Depending on the caliber, artillery might need to be pretty close to its minimum range to have a good chance to land directly on target with most of its salvo, having 'corrected shot' is also a big deal. 155mm has a pretty good blast radius, but firing from that far behind the line it's still likely to miss a lot of shots. Artillery accuracy scales a lot harder with range than most players seem to think, especially with M109s they should probably be not too far behind your tanks, firing them from across the map is mostly just wasting supply.

ggs again, really hamstrung on the AA this game (again) really micro intensive to make 2pzgren's AA work against 11ACR, something 2UK doesn't really have trouble with :P
That last point is why I find it so much less stressful to play 5e than berlin command. There's not as much pressure to trade well on a unit per unit basis, you can focus on the bigger picture because you have such deep reserves of tanks. It really feels like you can just play a bit more loosely and take some punches and react/adapt to win in the end
Have you tried playing 2nd UK in the same style you play 11th Cav? I bet you could wind up with a similar effect with Harriers instead of A-10s and Airmobiles in Lynx AH7s instead of Air Cav in Blackhawks. I think maybe 56th could work like this too, with all its MiG-27s and Mi-24 Desants.
@@xeroprotagonist I find 1st Armoured is better w the air spam play, 2nd UK not getting and Sead really hurts - there choppers also die pre easily :/ I absolutely suck w 2nd UK aha. Gotta micro an MLRS cluster instead to make the air spam work. I also just cannot stand the challenger 2 and how bad it is. I hate playing against 56 air spam, they have such a pain XD I’ve been MI-24 desant spammed at the start of a game too many a time aha
The aim time on the Stinger helos hurts them pretty bad against fast planes, you might need to manually target planes with them to keep them facing the right direction even as the plane flies by, or maybe lower the altitude of your helos behind some cover to mess with the plane's targeting? But also, aside from the Chaparral, all of 101st's AA is airmobile, you can send in Stinger teams in Blackhawks first to cover the landing sites for your helo CV or resupply area for your helo blob. Airmobile units and gunships complement each other.
@@xeroprotagonist I couldn’t agree more w the aim time on the stingers and having to right click on enemy planes instead of just letting em do there own thing. I really need to play this Div more 😆 I have such a bad opinion of it.

You could split one of the vehicels and go straight to the spawn to cap his trucks, but I am unsure if the timing is enough. But even a partial stop could delay his points and counter attack. Very fun match!

Very cool strategy! You might want to try a maneuver like this but slightly delayed, using helicopters instead of motorized units. 11e has the ingredients for it, you get a lot of helo-transported units and the Puma Pirate is an extra free-floating transport helo as well. If you infest the opponent's rear areas with squads with Apilas launchers that can suddenly appear near their reinforcement roads, sideshot something expensive, and then run back into the forest, hide, and do it again, they're going to have a very tough time. Also Milan 2s, Mistrals, mortars, snipers. Your Sagaies are not actually airborne deployed and they don't have the resilience to take hits while advancing, I think they're intended more as reinforcements than the initial thrust. I think it'd make sense to use airborne deployed infantry to establish a firm front line and find the weak point in the opponent's line, then helos to rush units through it, then your Sagaies & all those CAS aircraft to help hold the line. You could probably play 82nd or 35th the same way.
ok with this and the last game both time you lost your supply very shortly after the push. I would suggest either routing it differently or slowing it down. Maybe like in this map let it stay in a non obvious forrest where you would retreat to if the engagment goes badly or alternativly can push from to supply your force. That would give it a bit more staying power with the smokes.

I need to repeat myself and say that you are one of the few (if not the only one) players who actually maneuver and don't try to break a wall at all cost. It is refreshing to see that you actually think while playing. Also, I am surprised not more people use smoke in general; it was much more prevalent in Steel Division 44'. Woeisme should definitely counter smoke you but he decided to do 10v10 tactic and just blob, heh. Another thing is, that you show Pact is not bad - just players ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Too many f*** thrown around though 😅
@@barybary42 thank you and I do apologize, I’ll try to be more well mannered 😅 I feel like 4th and 7th PZ are actually some of the strongest Pact divisions out there 🙂 Yeah, someone like Icarus and puri tanner does a lot of it, I wish more guys smoked; it makes the game a lot more dynamic and not so campy - tired of the stalling to build up too overwhelm. (I hate blobs a lot) I never got to play SD44 in its heyday :((
You remind me of Viper from Age of Empires 2 when it comes to maneuvers. Pretty unorthodox, even though it seems like a common sense. I have one question though. Why do you use MP units? I saw your 2nd Panzer deck and you also use Feldjager there; why? Thanks!

@@barybary42 back when they were 35 points; yeah they were great! But I’m not paying 45 points for 11 men that are unupvettable rifles 😅 (they’ll get beaten by anything) can’t even bring them in the OG Milan car ☹️ - would rather spend 5 points more for the Jager that have a MG and AT.
Precarious but spectacular. This is much more fun than the static frontlines. Thank you for the A-10 Micro tip. If I understand it right you have to attack ground somewhere close (or further from the actual target?) and then when the A-10 is lower micro the BRRRT on target.
@@jonsenqq7236 I only have to do it when it doesn’t wanna ground strafe in a tight circle - usually it’s not an issue on open maps cause you can queue order it from a further distance away and it has time to drop the altitude - but in this game i tried to ground strafe and it flew in a circle 3 times like a goof before I mainly told it to fire position at that unit in the building and then it was fine to use after that, as long as you continue to ground strafe units afterwards while keeping the turn circle tight; then it won’t ride up w the altitude.
Since you seem to have build up a reputation for air spam the enemy still has to buy the AA. With your concentration of force and quick pivoting around their strongholds he realy did not have much chance there. I've seen a few games from you where you seem to just take half of the map (and not your own at that) how do you balance advancing into enemy terrain for cuttoffs against fast enemy reinforcements or bombing missions?
The biggy is rushing recon forward and being able to see where my opponents transports are all deploying - (also some sound listening to find out what my opponent has, concentration of troops etc) from there I can usually determine how confident I am w attempting a break out maneuver. Also I am very much so a strong believer that this game is all about tryna crack ur opponent before he attempts to break you - I wanna force the tempo, that way I instinctively know what he’s gonna buy just by what I’m doing and I can already think two steps ahead about how to counter his counter.
