You realize that these “cute babies” have hepatitis, rabies, and hundreds of other viruses that can affect humans? Not to mention they would eat a human if needed and are overtly aggressive?? Not sure if people will put themselves in danger after watching this video due to the false representation. It’s great that you like them and praise (don’t tell) but you should mention to the viewers the inherent dangers that come with these non-pet animals so they don’t think it’s pepa pig, piglet, or a pet if they run into one. Just my two cents…
this is definitely NOT a perfect landing but a very bad one. It was a very smooth one for sure but no center line, too fast, to high, used throttle, etc.. There were a lot of things that made it not perfect. I'm a real pilot before you ask.
if you were wondering about the strange flashs in the back mirror - other cars try to take over. You must use the right lane. 180 or some is not even fast.
The Duke really isn't that bad when it comes to cost, not as bad as some in it's class. With the price of fuel on the rise again that what will cost you everytime you take her up. I had winglets and strakes added to mine a few years ago hoping to save some fuel, haven't really noticed much savings though, not enough to justify the mods. Owning a plane isn't cheap by any means, you gotta love them. Nice landing. Safe landings are always nice ones. Enjoyed the video.
@GORDON49X , just because it was built in the 80's doesnt mean you cant add modern avionics. I have a plane made in 1964 with a GNS430W and another Narco 12D(igital) (which is ancient by todays stds) Also It was a good landing, not a great landing, just one of a 1000 good landings. Keep it up Id rather have 1000 like it than 1 perfect.
I wanna own one when I'm older, but heard they are very expensive to run, unless you regularly carry passengers who are paying? I like the fact it's pressurised and I thought that was a good landing, but not PERFECT close though.
@jarod1672 Your definitely a student pilot. Its always important to land on the centerline. While it may not have made a difference with this airplane on this runway, when trying to land the same airplane on a 40 foot wide runway, landing on the centerline would be a big fucking deal.
Theres always some jackass who posts comments on being off centerline. I thought it was a pretty damn good landing! @lucabrasi1337 its probably a little easier in you little flight sim game...some of us fly REAL airplanes!
No my friend, the idea is to straddle the centre line keeping it between the nose and main gear thus avoiding any unpleasant and unnecessary impacts with he slightly raised centre line light fixtures, otherwise over time the oleo legs and shockers will suffer unnecessarily.
