Hey, I really enjoy your videos. You make some really good stuff. I am in the process of building myself an upright arcade machine and I was wondering where you got the plastic bezel that you have around your monitor. I think it gives it a nice, finished look and I would like for mine to look as professional as possible. Thanks.
It is not possible to save hi scores on the 412 board. There are other boards you can buy which will Allow you to save hi scores, like the Pandora DX and the 60 board. Please note that I rarely check my RU-vid comments so for other questions, please email me. Bruce@awesomearcades.com or visit my website. Www.Awesomearcades.Com
Hi there! I am interested in only buying your product. On your website I have been unable to find where I can choose 60 game or 412 game. Not interested in making a purchase error and I'm not interested in purchasing the 60 game. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Can't wait to write my own review. Have an amazing day! Blessings to you and yours.
Sorry that I missed you, I don’t check RU-vid. Please message me directly and I will try to answer your question as best I can. Bruce@awesomearcades.com or 408-649-0410
Most of the 516 vertical games allow for head-to-head gameplay and flip. Any game that was not originally intended to be played on a cocktail will not flip. For example donkey Kong was only released on a standup arcade, not a cocktail. So player one and player two would play from the one player side.
@@mrawesome2742 FYI... DK was in fact released in factory Nintendo Cocktail cabs and the screen does flip. I have owned a couple and you can find full out restoration videos of them right here on RU-vid in the original cocktail cab.
Question. How do you plug 4 controllers into one pandora ? I see you only use one jamma plug. Are the four connected to the jamma or do you have the side by side on jamma and the side controllers on usb ?
@@mrawesome2742 oh I see. So the system switched from side to front facing co trollers... great. Last question. Would there be à way to have 1P AND 2P controller by wifi usb controllers on the side way (3000 games version). I have a DX and I can technically bypass the jamma to run it with pads. But I was wondering with 2 systems in 1 if it was similar
Great video explaining what seems to be a really good product. I've been looking to upgrade my old MAME cocktail and you seem to have one of the better options.
Hey John, our Typhoon and Storm arcades both have a 32” 1080i LED monitor. Regarding our cocktail tables, A 32” monitor will not fit in our current cocktail arcade design. The only way to make that 32” monitor fit would to be to increase the size of the cabinet. If we increased the size of the cabinet the arcade would no longer be able to fit through a standard 30 inch household door which would not be desirable for most customers . With the 26” LED the cabinet already at 29.5” at its widest point. The cool thing about Cocktail Arcade is that you are right on top of the action while playing. 😀. I guess that was a long way of saying we won’t be putting a 32 inch monitor in cocktail table. I believe creative arcades has a 32” cocktail. But they don’t have The pandora DX game board. (The best board by far).
i have a beyond arcade cocktail table i acquired . it currently has 19 games how can i install the 60 or 412 boards ? i want all the classics galaga, rampage ,elevator action ,pac man etc etc...it is basically the same cabinet in this vid other than a couple odds and ends . the board and connections look the same and my joysticks are 8 position because it already has robotron 2084..
The control panel needs to be longer. This is only possible with a different cabinet. There’s no way to modify the existing standard cocktail in this way.
What is your definition of arcade quality sticks and buttons? The Ultimate cocktail comes with four direction (red ball) Joysticks on the vertical side and eight direction black joysticks on the horizontal side.
@@mrawesome2742 poor wording on my part! If I got the 412 classic arcade setup would having 8 way sticks make playing games like Ms Pac-Man much harder? (Since those are designed for the 4way sticks)
@@Nemhyz nope, there's a software setting that let's you set up ms. Pacman with whatever joystick type you have. Or maybe it's on the underside of the joystick itself.
