The Brick Scavenger buys up old Lego collections from people who no longer want them, sort through the pieces, put sets back together, and share with you what we found!
Aaron, start with the bigger ones more put together and they shouldn’t be horrible to piece together and the smaller ones that are not that valuable go to bulk! Sorry I deal with it way more than I admit and it’s usually a couple big chunks that go together easy and the bigger ones are back together
Love Red Hulk. I pieced one together from Bricklink and Ebay for about $20. Was super exicted lol. Question; I watched one of your videos recently where you were showing how you stage everything before listing. Do you do that for all your stuff or just more common stuff?
Kinda wondering, how does the pick-a-brick wall work? Do they change out what parts are available each day? Whenever I go into my local Lego store and look at the pick-a-brick wall I never find anything that stands out to me.
The addition of the foliage is making the island look about 20 times better! Loving this project! Recommendation for the brown plates next to the walkway, what about adding some green 1x1 flower pieces to represent tufts of grass and weeds?
It's nice to know that even though almost everything on your bricklink store is used I know they are all in good condition because of these videos. Great video!
@@brickscavenger I have been slowly making an order just need the money now, since I am only 13. I am mostly just getting Lotr stuff since I didn't grow up during that time.
I know this video is a little older, but I’ve been using the brick monkey app and it is amazing! Definitely try it if you haven’t yet. Love your videos btw, keep up the good work!
Good call out on the back cracks. What about ones under the arms on the torso? It often looks like mold lines but sometimes it seems to progress into actual cracks. Thoughts?
Differentiating cracks for mold lines can be very tough. Generally speaking, I only see mold lines on the gold, pearl gray, and white torsos. A good way to check is by running a fingernail along the "crack/mold line". You'll be able to feel cracks but mold lines should be perfectly smooth. But yes, all good sellers should be checking for cracks on the sides of the torsos!
It looks like part one at least covers your cost if not more. Doubling your money shouldn’t be a problem with this haul, as long as you don’t keep too much n
@@brickscavenger I wasn’t saying the figures are or aren’t mint I was asking if you concerned about keeping them mint? The torsos and legs are fully connected and that’s pressure that causes cracks. The heels on studs does too. I have had several crack and I have had to seperate torsos to stop pressure and have 2x1 panels with the divider for the heels I’m not 100% on all this, but it’s advice I was given and I had cracked torsos and none since taken the precautions Just saying
