Tom is actually underrated as a pure passer. Before you jump down my throat let me explain. The narrative is that Tom is not that physically talented and makes up for it with his intangibles. Although his intangibles are unmatched, he is a tremendous thrower of the football. His throwing motion is flawless and consistent. His release is incredibly quick and he is as decisive as a qb has ever been. Tremendous velocity on throws that need to get there quickly combined with having outstanding touch to get the ball over the arms of defenders in tight coverage downfield. Combine all that with great footwork and pocket awareness you have the perfect qb. System we my ass people.
Of course I hated Brady as Jets fan (sad). There are only 2 GOATS for me in their sport. Michael Jordan and Tom Brady. Nobody is close. Seeing both athletes in their primes and witnessing todays athletes. Nobody put fear in me watching them play my teams like Brady and Jordan. A close second to them is LT. Freakish amazing athlete that dominated games on defense and got the left tackle position lots of $.
You watch Brady highlights he’s throwing to guys that are covered you watch Mahomes highlights everyone is wide open.. there will never be anyone like Tom Brady
I used to be a brady doubter in his earlier years. Grew to really appreciate him more and more as years went on. I honestly miss him and the nfl doesnt feel the same without him. His accuracy at times was so good it was scary.
Watching this makes me want to cry 😭 what a blessing to have Brady quarterback our team for all those years. Now in 2023 more than ever I realize how lucky we were as fans, I don’t expect to see something like This again anytime soon. Thank you TB12 🫡
As a group I think the patriot’s wr are better than anyone. They made spectacular catches time and time again when the game was on the line if you were down 28-6 with only 21 minutes left and you win as a team they were spectacular. Just ask KC
Tom Brady is the best QB I’ve ever seen at making a pin point accurate 5-40 yard throw to a player with defenders draped over them. He makes throws that other QBs refuse to take unless they’re trailing or desperate, and he makes them look easy.
I’m sure there will be many amazing players in the future but I am thankful I got to watch two decades of this legend play football. Thanks for everything Tom!
I’m 2 minutes in and I can tell you mahomes still has a lot of work to do before he is seriously compared to the GOAT. Mahomes makes plays with his feet and throws from ridiculous angles and contortions, and it’s amazing. Brady is a merciless , ingenious, technician, with the poise of a Bald Eagle. I’m so glad that I get to witness another GOAT in the making. He’ll be everything Rodgers was supposed to be and more.
Mahomes actually admitted your point this offseason -- he said he has been actually studying Brady's career so that he can be more like him in the pocket and know where to go with the ball before the snap so that he doesn't have to rely on his feet as much. Mahomes is smart, he knows at some point, his mobility will diminish, so this is a part of his game he should be looking to improve. I'm more impressed with the fact he's thinking about that already and not 5 years from now. That said, it's easier said than done though, I don't think mobile QBs can help themselves in this era of football, so if he manages to play into his 40s at a high level, props to him, but he's going to get hit if he keeps using his legs to make plays.
Man, the way he drops dimes is astounding. Look at his trajectories. He knew every throw whether to dart it, lob it or float it. Also, look how he navigates the pocket. He's always moving hopping around with both feet. It is no surprise this man is the 🐐 Sincerely, a niners fan
I just find it amazing how long he stays in the pocket, opposition linemen swarming onto him, and then calmly passes at the very last second. Always a 🐐🐐🐐🐐
