@@robertlu.x I have been looking at El Salvador, Peru, Panama to try to build an IT support and monitoring centre. My key concerns are corruption, cost of living, internet speed, and local labour (English fluency, wages, and education.
I was thinking about how to reply you. So I consult chatgtp, its reply is quite similar to what I have in mind. I hope that helps you a bit. El Salvador • Corruption: Corruption is a significant issue. According to Transparency International, it ranks relatively high on the Corruption Perceptions Index. • Cost of Living: Lower compared to many Western countries, but higher in the capital, San Salvador. • Internet Speed: Average internet speeds, though infrastructure is improving. • Local Labor: • English Fluency: Moderate, with some proficiency in urban areas and among educated professionals. • Wages: Relatively low. • Education: Varies, with some qualified professionals but generally a need for further IT education and training. Peru • Corruption: Corruption is a problem, but efforts are being made to combat it. Ranked higher than El Salvador on the Corruption Perceptions Index. • Cost of Living: Lower than many Western countries, but higher in Lima. • Internet Speed: Generally good in urban areas, especially Lima. • Local Labor: • English Fluency: Moderate, with better proficiency in business and tech sectors. • Wages: Low to moderate. • Education: Good pool of educated professionals, especially in Lima, with several universities offering IT and engineering programs. Panama • Corruption: Also faces corruption issues, but has a relatively better ranking than El Salvador and Peru. • Cost of Living: Higher compared to El Salvador and Peru, particularly in Panama City. • Internet Speed: Generally good, with modern infrastructure. • Local Labor: • English Fluency: Higher due to the country’s international business environment. • Wages: Higher than in El Salvador and Peru but still competitive. • Education: Good educational institutions with a focus on international standards, providing a relatively strong pool of IT professionals. Summary • Corruption: Panama generally fares better than El Salvador and Peru. ( But 2019-2024 Panama was not good though. ) • Cost of Living: El Salvador and Peru are more affordable, while Panama is more expensive. • Internet Speed: Panama has the best infrastructure, followed by Peru, and then El Salvador. • Local Labor: Panama offers higher English fluency and education standards, though at a higher wage cost compared to El Salvador and Peru.
I really don't know much about Peru. The current political situation makes some rich people move their money to Panama and Miami. Please check this well. This is what I heard. As for El Salvador, it is getting much better under the President Bukele. But I still think Panama is a bit safer. The new mayor of Panama city, Mayer Mizrachi is a great guy. I really like what he is doing. You may want to follow his instagram account to know Panama better. I will look for more information to share. Good luck.
Its very relaxing to visit Luxembourg. All transportations in Luxembourg is free. We can move around using Train / Tram / Bus completely free. Stress free about buying ticket, keep ticket for checking etc.
