How could they afford to buy such a beautiful casket but yet this baby girl died of starvation? Why couldn't they have taken the money they would have spent on her casket and given this child food???? I see this pattern in our society. No money to help the victim until after they are dead
I find it really disturbing that we as people will disturb and open a persons coffin I find it so disrespectful We pearly know it’s a coffin I understand people wouldn’t want it under their home and had to in this case the re bury her etc but in general I mean we always seem to open them nowadays and it’s a bit weird
It reminds me of the time that Hurricane Fran hit North Carolina. Some of us at the church next door to the graveyard wandered over into the graveyard and found a coffin in the roots of a tree that had fell over from the late 1800s you could see the coffin the skeleton and everything and we had to call the justice of the peace and they sent the proper authorities out to exam all the remains and replace them back in the ground. If we wouldn't have been nosy children there's no telling what would have happened to that coffin. It hadn't even dried out before we found it so it was pretty much intact when they put it back
My oldest daughter is 2 years old right now.....I can't even imagine losing her. Looking at this little girl's sweet face in the coffin just makes me lose it....... this is so sad 😭😭😭
Britishers didn't find places that people been going and worshipping for thousands of years natives are very well awareness of the place. They're told the same propaganda history for many ancient sites.
I live in SF for ten years and grew up just outside of SF. The Cemetery’s were removed for housing development and all the bodies were moved to Colma, 20 minutes away, who’s slogan is “It’s great to be alive in Colma” as the dead outnumber the living. I’ve been there, it’s creepy. What I’m not sure about.. could be myth… the headstones were repurposed for a new sea wall.
In 2016, they should have known breaking the seal would be devastating to the integrity of the body. For crying out loud! Archeologist know you don't do that with remains they find.🤨
Actually I have read that the pristine look of the body is a myth. While it was remarkably not as decomposed as would have been expected, the image presented here has been touched up by an artist.
