So, *Mad Max* TM meets _Tekken_ ...no, thanks lol. I can see this Biker customization fitting certain personalities like Reina, Hwoarang, and Paul (duh lol) but not others. Oh, gotta get this out of the way, as for the panel artists: I absolutely *HATE* the _art style_ of *Wolf Marker!* 👎 (just imo LOL)
Yeah it’s certainly not for everyone but goodness knows this game could use more options for customization whenever possible so I’ll take it. Yeah absolutely no offense to Wolf Marker but compared to the others used, I find that art style the least appealing. Kind of depends on the character too. I think the Devil Jin one looks good for example. But a good number of them are rather jarring to look at imo. Can’t say it’s bad of course, just not for me.
@@ZeoRangerVII Yeah I would’ve gone with Ryu and Ken because the shotos have always been my favorite Street Fighter characters but I went with Wolverine to have an X-Men rep and he’s fun to use in these games anyway imo. Cyclops can be fun to use too but his optic blasts get annoying when he spams them.
Side note: *SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT!* 📢 Call it *insanity or boredom,* but I *PLAN* on _returning_ to tha online, Tekken scene not too long from now!😳🤯😃 That old, *competitive* _itch_ been getting stronger since I've been watching your T8 uploads and other, T8 YT channels I follow and well, I figured why should y'all have _all the fun?!_ 🤔😋 Anyway, I speak of *T7,* ofc and I just wanted to have one, *final ranked run* with _new looks for my subs and my main._ (Old, fave looks likely to return) ... This time around, *only the best wins and perhaps, close losses will be uploaded.* As last time, I'll start (recording) from *Warrior and end at Destroyer.* After that, I really am *done!* And there will be *NO bgm* this time around, only sfx! The *Reina* mirror - sweet *perfects!* 💯💯⚡⚡ Good sets, but way to go showing yourself as the superior one👏 The *Jin* sets, also good...17:14! Noice, classic Hei moves ~ ws2 CH into a 1+2. 19:22! Back throw, sweet! FINAL round - great dominating that one quickly! HARD FOUGHT, those sets for sure! 20:17! *PROOOMO 2 GO!* 🏆🙌🥳 I can see *Reina,* easily being your _main_ if you wanted.
Ok, Reina looks like a throw back to an 80's (or 90's) glam punk rock band lol. As such, you could even equip the electric guitar item on her if it's in T8. Good win!
Booo, that Alisa player was a dirty, *lag switching scrub!* I mean, you're both *wired* and in _America,_ and their connection *conveniently,* dropped to a 1 bar (red) everytime to cause freezing/slowdown to give them the *advantage!* Also, notice no runback? They *knew* they were *guilty,* that's why! As for the Kazuya hmmm I guess they were legit, and no cheating.
@@kdknight1297 Sorry for the slight rant, it's just that was a pet peeve of mine in my T7 ranked days. It would put me off from playing it for long periods of time -_-
Part 2) 12:56! Noice finish! (Looked like a ws move from a crouch?) 13:52! Good, launch punish ftw. 15:57! Ooooh that looks like a nasty counter! (is it a counter for Armour moves? Because it seems that's what it did) 16:06! *PROOOMO 2 GO!* 🏆🙌🥳
15:57 Actually it counters highs and mids and it only does so while in heat. It’s her own version of her daddy’s Heaven’s Wrath, complete with the same name. She does different moves in the stance too compared to Heihachi. I bet ole Hei will bring his own version back when he gets added in.
Part1) 7:52! Good 👁️ for the launcher and *what a combo!* 7:59! Great throw break by the *Lidia!* 8:19! Odd, you'd think that kind of move because of the knock back/knock down effect would lead to a _heat rush!_ (idk it just looks like it should) 9:15-9:18! Sweet punishes by the Lidia into the CH stun into the stance moves follow-ups. 9:35! Looks like her db1+2 pc/armour! I definitely used it in T7 to close-out rounds. A shame no runback tho! (I thought you both had good sets, nice energy going on back n forth smh)...
7:52 Too bad I already forgot the command in the middle of that combo that led to the tornado. I get rusty with a majority of the characters so fast. 7:59 Seems like throw breaking used to be so tricky before Tekken 7. 8:19 If I remember correctly, the bears have the same move, and their version is either a heat engager, power crusher or both. Can’t entirely remember for sure. Reina’s might come out only slightly faster though. Idk. Definitely want to go back to playing Lidia eventually. Huh, odd because I could’ve sworn the Lidia player already won 2-0 in our set and it’s best 2/3 in this game rather than the infinite rematch option that T7 had.
@@kdknight1297 It's only natural to get some kind of brain fog now and then if you use more than one character! That's one reason why some ppl devote their whole time to mastering one character's moveset and finding their strengths/weaknesses and adapting to all mups...yep throw breaks in T7 and earlier ones took a measure of skill...I see now that you're correct on the number of times the Lidia won in your sets. They were fair, idk why I thought otherwise :P
Congrats on doing good enough with such an _advanced_ character/play style; the 2 *PROOOMO 2 GO'S* 🏆🙌🥳 and the milestone of getting all your characters to *Fighter* rank, thus far!👏 *Bonus:* You vs the King - good stuff by both of you!👍 I used to dabble with *Yoshi* over the years all the way to T6, but nothing serious. I wasn't too bad in T3, but by T7, the skill gap was too far (like Nina who I used to dabble with)
I continue to surprise myself. This is definitely the most amount of time I've ever sunk into a Ranked Match mode in any fighting game. And it being a Tekken game makes it feel that much better ^_^. Yoshi is certainly one of the most complicated characters to play, but he's still cool. After falling off on him for a while after Tekken 5, it's nice to play him this extensively once again.
1:14-1:17! *GREAT!* 🤌 2:40-2:45! *SUPER good* cane punish!👏 2:52! *PROOOMO 2 GO!* 🏆🙌🥳 3:46! Aww too bad! Your b2 CH stun can start a big combo once you pick up to float. The End: *Strong* 💪 _control_ of that final round ftw!👍 As for that _title,_ you are so *wrong* for that!😅
3:46 will keep that tip in mind. lol maybe I am wrong for that title but I find it hilariously fitting for me. It reminds me of the title I have equipped for myself in Soul Calibur 6: “Edge Master (In my Mind)” 😅
@@kdknight1297 3:46! His b2 stun CH combo starter worked in T7, so I don't see why it would've changed in T8. I mean, there was a reason why it gives a substantial stun, allowing you time to act. Ad for the _title,_ my bad! I meant the title of this vid, *not* your _fighting title_ below your character's name. Sorry, I should've clarified that.
@@smartie354 Hmmmm well I didn’t play him a whole lot in 7 even though I did like him fine. Some might disagree because of how he broke that game for a while lol Ah okay. No problem although now I’m confused on why I’m wrong lol 😅
@@kdknight1297 Oh, indeed Leroy was definitely broken before he was nerfed significantly. And that's when I started to use him a lot more because it felt fair, and I didn't risk scrutiny from opponents for using a previously, OP character. Again on the title of this vid...when you said in the description that maybe Leroy's specialty is defeating Law players lol. That's what I was referring to :P
2:24! The Art of fighting... *nobody!* Literally!😂 And then to add insult to *injury,* they did the wrong _evade_ and backed their *head* right into your *painful kick! OUCH!* 👢💥 2:37! Hmm a new ss move for Lili and seems by Azu's fall stun animation that you could've got a launch or a follow-up attack, but maybe not because it has slow recovery it seems (Lili recovered into stance about the same time that Azu did) 2:44,2:45! That was pretty cool, like it was choreographed!🎥🎬🤌 The End: Even dealing with "sus" _lag,_ you still managed that *PROOOMO 2 GO!* 🏆🙌🥳
Part 3) 9:00! *BIG,* flashy finish!😅😉 Noice!👍 11:37! Sweet! Good idea to sneak in her CH b1 takedown. 11:42! On a ws1,4 knockdown, follow-up with either df3 OR f2 OR ff1. 12:00! *PROOOMO 2 GO!* 🏆🙌🥳
The tips are always appreciated. 😊 This game is probably the most fun I’ve had using Asuka in the franchise. She’s one of several characters I tended to avoid using in previous titles, at least when playing online. But then T8 works its magic 😉.
Part 2) 7:38! Noice CH d1+2 high crush! 7:42! Great b1+3/b2+4 parry/reversal! Definitely, use those more for string abusers. 7:50! Snaaap! He had his ready! 7:56! Oooh he frame-trapped you with the jabs to set up the 3,3 CH take-down leg break. It's a move to catch mashers - I learned the hard way in T7! 8:27! One of my fave throws of hers - df2+3!
Part 1) 3:42-3:46! Good combo. 3:49! When I caught ppl with this move ~ ff4 in T7 ranked, I'd always follow-up with ff2,3 (even ff3 is a good option) The ff2,3 should still be guaranteed in T8 after a ff4 on hit. 3:59! Good! Nice uf2 (would've been an auto-throw on CH) set-up for the b1+2 throw. Definitely, double break throws are good vs this player since they only abuse throws that require a 1 button break. This Law...really, has *no clue* what they're doing lol. Just random stuff, I notice with no actual combos. *NOT* good enough to deny you a runback smh🙄...5:15! Whenever you wall stun your foe with Asuka, follow-up with 1+4,2,4. It does or always did the most dmg in T7, but with her new, T8 heat options, that might've changed...
Stray observations: Rocking her T5DR color theme and default fit; that hairstyle from T7 has returned, but now it's unisex, I see. Her with red pupils and no white (sclera) of the eye...creepy!😳😬... Well done on the *PROOOMO 2 GO!* 🏆🙌🥳 ... However, I would never play vs someone in another country, only because of expected lag or potential, connectivity issues. It's especially, risky if it's on your promo match. That's just me tho🤷♂️
@@smartie354 I appreciate them bringing back Asuka’s classic look. I think my matchmaking settings are like that because there was a time where I was taking a while to find matches so i made them less strict and I just haven’t bothered to change them again since. Maybe I should change them around again.
The close-up: Speaking as an artist, they definitely made his character model super handsome, compared to his T7 iteration. Well done on the 💯🥋 and the *PROOOMO 2 GO!* 🏆🙌🥳
11:30! *PROOOMO 2 GO!* 🏆🙌🥳 12:33!💯🥋 The End: Good using the 1,1..string because it beats out mashers. Man! You almost needed a *Senzu bean* 🫘 to deal with that lag at the end!😅 So, these fights...ok, I see👀 you, *Goku-san!* 😏 Btw, having the *#1 song of the toughest fighter in the universe* for the city stage - I approve! Just that I request your bgm volume be a bit louder from now on! Wanna be able to clearly, *hear* 🎧 those sweet selections🎵of yours!
Aha. I see. Yeah I can try making the music louder for the future. Unfortunately the game has an issue with volume mixing in the jukebox though. Some songs have more volume than others for some reason 😐
@@kdknight1297 Oh, that sucks, but if I recall correctly, that same issue existed in T7 Jukebox. The older games OST's like T2 & T3, etc had lower volume by default. T6, TekRev, and TTT2 were plenty loud if memory serves.
Maaan...🫤 I had some, nice comments (if I do say so myself) about _highlights_ (time-stamped) of your 2 fights here, but I lost them when your vid suddenly ended, and I tried to go back! So, I'll just say congrats on the *PROOOMO 2 GO* 🏆🙌🥳 and *Azu* is shaping up to be a *strong sub* for you!🤌✨ P.S. I liked the new stuff here (b/t shenanigans and evades into CH and combo game getting solid!)👍
Aw dang :( Oh well thanks anyway ^_^. Yeah Azu can be fun though I don't know about being a sub. Still gotta get used to her dodges and counters. Basically, the kind of moves where she can weave around the opponent away from their highs and mids, or maybe it's just highs. I don't remember.
7:29-7:34! Definitely, a decent combo! 👍 One of the few that didn't drop thanks to that lag😒 Loving those colors on *Azu!* 🤌✨ It really brings out her _Latin roots!_ Having *Victor* as an opponent, especially in ranked, has gotta feel like an _uphill battle,_ most of the time!
Yeah, a fine combo and a fine custom look for Azu if I do say so myself. Victor players are hit and miss for me. I either do well or don't do so well against them. Plus, he's one of the characters that starts with a low on their heat smash, something that I always struggle to read.
