Folks, stop ruining these videos with the lame music soundtrack. I want to hear the sounds of the drive... not feel like I'm watching a music video 🤦♂️
You should do a drive-through in Apache Junction...I am Arizonan from Mesa, thank you; I enjoy the views as you drive. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions. I miss home sometimes...Shane
@@AllArizona Worse. Reduced it from 4 lanes to 1 lane each way. Put in "parking" and "parklets" and supposed to put in a bunch of curbing. It's horrible.
@experiencedmua9962 I am not sure of the grade, but from the Sedona exit to the top of the rim is a good climb. There are some other good hills near Black Canyon City and Camp Verde too.
@@AllArizona can you tell me the rtes? We were in Arizona two weeks ago and unfortunately took Interstate 17 from Flagstaff to Phoenix. I say unfortunately only because driving through that elevation was so scary. So because of that it we actually went South towards Tucson to leave Arizona and took interstate 10 through New Mexico lol
Just don't try to do it on the Sunday Afternoon/Evening of a Holiday weekend. The trip back down South makes L A traffic look like a mild inconvenience.
I'm looking at a two large homes at guard-gated community in Coral Gables Estates with a home with an incredible view of the city; however, we also found a 4,000 sq ft home in Paradise Valley. Areas are different obviously but I'm just looking for opinions before I make the move. Is the mountain view home worth the exchange of area of PV? Thank you
Plenty of cars but not a single pedestrian walking the sidewalk... not a kid on a bike... not a family at the park playing frisbee... nothing... What kind of a plastic world does this place come from?
Yes, not much activity the day we were there. We did the drive mid-morning on a Tues. Verrado gets a lot more activity during the afternoon and weekends for sure. The "Victory Steps" were packed as usual.
Is it just me or is this community profoundly depressing. It feels a lot like Florida, just utterly homogenous and characterless. A master-planned community like this built from the ground up in Arizona should just be totally oozing desert charm and personality.
@@MisterEPCOT you put anything out and the thieves think that they have the right to take it because after all you're not guarding it. It's sitting outside! It's like a lot of places. I'm not saying that's exactly what you're talking about but it does lend itself to being bland as far as the neighborhood. By the way I'm talking about one flashing red light small town USA. No better in the suburbs or the cities.
1:09:14 the first sighting of snow is on the right side of the video … amazing scenery! Watching from the UK 🇬🇧 and would like to travel to Arizona one day .
Thank you for your comment. Yes, Arizona is beautiful! We are lucky to call it home. Hopefully you will be able to visit sometime. There are a few daily flights between Phoenix and London making the trip between AZ and the UK quite easy. 😀
Hi Mike. We will try and get a Southbound Vid posted for you. We usually have so much fun in the mountains, it is dark before we return home to Phoenix.
@@AllArizona Drive safe!! Quick question, have you ever considered taking the route through Prescott, Chino Valley, etc to Flagstaff? I used to live in that area so I can vouch for it haha there's a lot of cool stuff!
The craziest part about this is that I grew up in wittmann Arizona which is like 10 minutes from here it's right alongside the highway we have to drive by this Air Force Base everyday to go to Walmart there is a giant radio antenna right by here two
@@rudycabonias on northern ave right where the landong guide posts are or whatever they’re called can you actually park where those things are and plane spot?
