I find it helpful to put worship music on and then get working on a project in my apartment and I find that several hours can go by very quickly and I firmly believe a large part of it is the worship music.

“I’m a procrastinator.. eh I shouldn’t say that. I tend to procrastinate” Reframing out loud! Great reminder that our identity is only in Jesus. Easier said than done.

Acts 20, Levi recheck so you and daughter can reflect Eutychus
@bernscott1500
@bernscott1500 9 дней назад
During a session with oldest daughter of Lescos discussing Acts 20, they took a vote on Young man Eutychus sitting in window and fail he was revived, and then they finish another long sermon. But Levi and his daughter were against the vote of saying he was alive. Only Ginny based on wish she read in scripture confirm this this should be addressed to make sure his followers know that Jennie was correctly interpreting the book of acts 20.

Awesome message God bless you, you have many members of your dad. The way you talk and the way you move your hands and even smile. I grow up listening to your dad, morning and night. I'm praying that he will return back soon, the media needs to be praying. Let Christ do his work, I am very proud of you and your family. 👏👏

Wow🎉 how powerful! I feel like I could say the Lord God Almighty, King of Kings Jesus and the Holy Spirit all thank you for my nuggets of wisdom gained for my discipleship. My spirituality and life lower story took an unexpected loss being hurt by church through scapegoating and betrayal in sharing my story. Trustfunding-wise, I was prompted that God trusted me with that level of responsibility. A therapist mentored me that when we are fearful and feel threatened/hurt, just like a turtle retreating into its shell - we implode and limit our thinking and opportunities for ourselves and our faith. Through all of your rootedness in Christ, I've been able to pinpoint my chasms of imbalance and lack through tangible next steps of seeking out holy guidance, next local church presence and increasing conversation (prayer). His Grace has provided me with sustaining faith in daily "Our Daily Bread" devotional reading & heeding 13 years and counting. Thank you for sharing your stories and the app resources 🕊️ I give away faith, encouragement and mercy ... so I have a better idea how to do that intercessorily for you all now.

Though I love listening to these stories...it is drastically distracting the amount of the "Mmmmmmhhh"'s is just sounds and feels so phoney and deprecating. Saying "yeah...wow...mmmm...hmmm....yeah" over and over I could say sounds like adults trying to pretend to be deeply listening to kids but it's more than that. I also should shout out that this isn't just my thoughts but we are a group of 8 Christian couples in our 30s and we all just watched this because we wanted to learn more about other churches with younger pastors and singers that have a similar message of our church. And quite a few of us have had some kind of addiction or some heavy periods in our relationships which is what drove a member to seek out this video and a few others similar from others. But when the video ended, everyone was very in tune and interested in the message of Kristians struggles and the gift from the Lord he has with his wife, fellow pastors and their wives, friends etc was the key reason we wanted to tune in. Also, fellow parents did enjoy some of the parenting style advice to try out. So I just want to put it out that I'm not writing this on behalf of any of us picking at certain things. But it became a topic or a discussion with us after the clip. Just about everyone brought that up the fact that there was all this overboard assurance comments or noises that your wife makes just were very distracting and seemed very disingenuous. I of course don't know if it's intentionally or habit or thinking that's a good way to convey your sympathy and understanding. It happens just about every answer that was given was interrupted by or followed by this strange, I'm not sure how to word it for everyone but it just was distracting. When everything that is said is followed or distracted by constant "YES. Mmm. Hello. Oh yes. Hmmmmm yeah yeah" we all just were saying...why? Just is a lot and doesn't feel genuine. Almost like it's habit, not aware of, learned behavior or maybe just an excessive way of trying to show others you are "on their level" about every single comment of thought. One last thing that someone said too was they notice it a lot in faith talks just like this like lots of Christians do this she said. That it feels like not a conversation between good friends talking about important issues but more so a great couple comes to be interviewed, there is an interviewer and there is also a therapist that chimes in each time showing through this "style" of communication that its felt and understood. I don't know. Like I said, I'm just taking the pieces of information and thoughts of 20 group members and trying to summarize it. Not also trying to paint it negatively because I know we all enjoyed listening to Kris and his wife and all the ways we can draw similarities to each of us on a relatable level. They were wonderful guest and zero complaints there! It's always uplifting to hear someone push through the darkest periods and still struggle after like we all do but keep going through the help of great people and great faith. So we are thankful to have heard and learned more about fellow Christians from a cool church down south that's really making a big impact!

I loved this!! Except, what was with that "9s are the best - for women" comment?! That's some messed-up complimentarian-lens stereotyping right there. I know more 9 men than 9 women, and those 9 men are great! C'mon JM, use some of that great brain-power to dismantle the gender preconditioning. Other than that, this is great!

My dad grew up in Dearborn and went to the Catholic School in Detroit. He too remembers all the riots. He said that there were fires all the time lighting up the city. He graduated from HS in 1970, I believe, and then moved way up to the top of Upper Michigan. Shortly there after, his whole family moved to where he was. He was the oldest of 7 kids and 4 were still in school. They ended up purchasing a home that was the owner of one of the mines. At that time, mining was HUGE where we still live in the UP. That home was just recently sold in the last few years and such a bittersweet moment in my life. ❤

This was so worth listening to! Thank you for sharing the interview with your precious father. What a terrific, interesting, Jesus-loving man! It was a long podcast, but so worth watching and listening to. I'm a grandparent now, and feel even more inspired to be there for my grandkids and kids! What an encouraging thing to watch. My sympathy and prayers are with you as Chip is in heaven now, but I pray He will help all of you to grieve with hope. Thanks for sharing both the excellent and tough memories with us.

Y'all what do I do if I'm already married to a man that doesn't want to serve the Lord but "doesn't mind that I do" or believes but at home not in the church. It's been eight years now and it is harder now thàn before. . I feel so close to Christ and passionate about learning all I can about God's word. I try to share these things , keep plugging away? Why is it harder the more I get involved in the ministry? Is there any advice or life to speak? I'm lost and listening.

I think Danielle is the most selfish person I’ve ever watched on television. She treats her husband like he is 2 years old. She works all the he time so she don’t have to be there he mother of her 6 children and she belittles Adam in every way she can. When the show first aired I really admire her but that changed the past few seasons. I don’t like the person she has become.she never gives Adam any credit for anything he does. Because in her mind she is the only person that has done anything right. I lose my son in 2019 I took care of him after he was paralyzed in a car wreck I never regretted it for one second. All I hear from her is Adam is the fun dad and she is so jealous of that she punishes him for that.she needs to be a mom and wife and support her husband not knock him down all the time.

I enjoy these chats so much! It always feels as if we're right there in the living room chatting with y'all. Your family has a special way of appreciating all the little things most of us take for granted or don't think to record/discuss. The LORD is in ALL the details, and I find myself so thankful just listening to your family's gratitude for it all. ❤
