@@TheBroadbandChannel I am being charged £38.83 for both Broad band and Landline. Would it be possible to have both for £30.00 I am thinking of moving to Community broad band which is offering £30 for both.
I am very suspicious about good start deals , having been an ex virgin media customer. Virgin media are famous for many price hikes mid contract , which in my view is a breach of contract by a company.
That's really slow. When you signed up they provide you with a minimum speed guarantee. The speed you're getting sounds way off the minimum speed for a 1gb package. Check your contract. You have the right to cancel if the speed you're getting is lower than the minimum guaranteed - checkmybroadbandspeed.online/can-i-cancel-my-broadband-contract-early/
Ps. Do a speed test whilst connected directly to the broadband router to get the true speed being delivered to the router. Sometimes it's the WiFi that's slow and not the actual broadband connection into the house. checkmybroadbandspeed.online/broadband-speed-test/
@@TheBroadbandChannel yes i do know that having been a bt employee for years. My point is...why is bt brand selling bb when ee brand is doing the same. I have bt tv which is now called eetv and bt wifi is now ee wifi etc.
@@rodfulford4306 I assume that because EE are a known and recognised brand with their own customer base, BT have decided to allow them to remain autonomous. Just another facet for BT to gain new customers. It's similar to what they do with their other brand - Plusnet. Many options, but all leading back to BT 😊. This is similar to Coca cola who own Innocent Drinks but leave Innocent to trade autonomously.
Good video, useful information, thank you. Plusnet are discontinuing the telephone lines in their new packages they are moving over to a broadband only service, at the moment the only deal including the telephone line is a 36 mbps deal for £27.77, if you require faster fibre broadband it's without the phone.
@@rodfulford4306 That's for the suggestion. I will do on the next video. Regarding Sky, they include a Includes Sky Pay As You Talk phone line on all their packages as standard for free. Meaning you pay for the calls you make but you can also add Free evenings and weekends, Free Anytime or International call bundles during the checkout process.

Ethernet not needed. You put a sim in the router which is the Internet connection. The router has a WiFi network which you then connect your devices to. There's an app you download to manage the router setting ,WiFi network name or password, etc if you want to change the default settings. Works just like other traditional broadband but main difference is that there's no cable needed from the wall to the router as the Internet connection is via the 4G/5G simcard in the router. Which makes it portable - you can move it around with you 😊 .. bit.ly/three-home-broadband-deals
Can I ask from what source did you get these deals from. I signed up to Plusnet 28th Feb believing I would be getting the £70 reward card. However Plusnet are now denying that these deals ever existed. If you can help I would be very grateful
I bought a tp link MR600 4g+ router (£120) and a Poynting XPOL 1 outdoor antenna (£80) - £200 outlay, I have used a prepay smarty unlimited SIM (3 network). Yes, I have had the outlay to fork out, but I am no longer tied to long broadband contracts on the BT openreach network. Speeds are great too.
@@TheBroadbandChannel was on ADSL - 11 down, 1 up. On the routers own "rabbit ears" antennas speeds were terrible - 3 down, 0.2 up. With the Poynting outdoor antenna speeds 30 down 20 up @ peek time 16:00 - 21:00. In the early hours I regularly get 70 down, 30 up. Not breathtaking speeds (I'm not in best area), but with the outdoor antenna the speeds are much better than ADSL. The main reason for the move to 4g home internet was that I didn't want to be tied to long contracts anymore.
Sky is also offering 2 VUE tickets with Sky cinema along with Paramount+ which is basically saving almost £27 in the same price you can have sky sports complete package and sky cinema under the offer

********** >>>>>>>>>> ONESTREAM ROUTER NOT INCLUDED <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< ******* Router not included, extra £5 per month.... but at NO POINT prior to entering your payment details is the EXTRA COST made aware to you It is an absolute con that you get nigh all the way through the registration process and then (after you have added your direct debit and payment details) they tell you that you need to either buy your own router or pay an additional £4.50 per month for theirs. It is not made clear anywhere else on the website or during the set-up process. It is done purely to offer a cheap rate that gets them to the top of the list , and then tell you " Oh btw, it won't work without a router " NOT IMPRESSED
I recommend Plusnet to my friend, never again she has waited since the beginning of Jan 24 for a connection, when her partner died and Virgin cut off his account. So she has no land line or web and she is disabled, I am disgusted! March24
Companies are deliberately preventing coverage in most areas because they want long expensive contracts that are difficult to cancel. I wanted 5G in a City Centre but it is not available.
5G is currently only available in approximately ~50% of major cities. Three offers monthly rolling contracts but they are more expensive than fixed 24month contract.
Have you downloaded the Three broadband App. You can use it to change settings on the router as well as test different rooms in your home to see which has the best signal. Not sure what you mean about the website and password? Any login credentials for the Three router will either be in with the paperwork or on the label on the underside of the router.
Hi, If you're within the last 30 Days of your minimum contract term, you can give 30 days notice to cancel your contract. Tel.0333 338 1003 tidd.ly/4bYv2Sf
