These buses are on their last leg and the new flyer XD40 are coming to replace the aging fleet of the NABI 416,15 buses because of the 15 year lifecycle unlike the Flxible Metro B suburban buses which retired in 2010 and Metro D buses in 2011

Fun fact !!The #30 use to run between Madison & Virginia Streets in North Elizabeth to Trumbull Street in downtown Elizabeth .It then was renumbered the # 50 line for a couple of years & then the route was eliminated & split off between the #24 line which then expanded to Jersey Gardens Mall when it opened & #56 line which goes to Linden & Winfield which by the way was formerly known as the # 44 line in the 70’s & 80’s and run by a small independent bus company in Linden.
