That looks like such an amazing trip for your husband + his friends. Looks like they had a great time. What a wonderful album for him to have to reminisce about his trip! Those map pages were amazing! I just love your albums! You put so much time and detail in them amd they turn out amazing. Cannot wait for your next one! 😁
TYSM! yes, they had a blast and are already talking about another trip. I’m already diving in to documenting a Seattle trip, getting started video will be up this week. 😆
@PrettyLittlePocket that is great! Hope they have another great + safe trip! Happy to hear another video will be coming soon!! 😁 will keep my eyes open! Lol 🤓🧐
This is a great album. It is amazing that you can scrapbook about a trip you were not even on. Kevin is great at collecting stickers, and taking lots of pictures for you to use!
Ah the buffalo sculpture outside of the old Wells Fargo building in Downtown Grand Junction. It wears a Santa hat at Christmas time. Junction is my home. Great album!
I love your travel albums! And the little travel journal is so good idea I have to try it too. When you documented to your travel journal during the trip, did you print the photos then or after the trip?
I find it so fascinating watching project life flip throughs from other countries and cultures - it’s so fun to see the different traditions and lifestyles. Always enjoy your style of project life x
Thank you! 😊 I totally agree It's so interesting to watch PL flip throughs from other countries. That's actually how I found your channel - through one of your PL flip throughs!
Nice haul! Can’t wait to see your albums, especially the travel albums! I have a healthy backlog of travel projects myself. Always down for travel album videos, how you work through your sticking points, and just generally here for your content! ❤
awesome. I went to NYC December 2023 - also loved the Rockettes Christmas Spectacular! some great ideas for my scrapbook. big titles, snowflakes, shaker. thanks for sharing
Nice haul! It put me in the OD mood! I can’t wait to see your albums when they are finished. Fall trips are so fun to scrap. I like incorporating Halloween items in my travel albums.
4:08 When I was little, my grandma had a note taped to her fridge with all of our (grandchildren) birthdays and ages written on it. We gave her SUCH a hard time about it, like "Grandma, you can't remember how old we are?!" And now of course I have to do the exact same thing for my nieces and nephews. Sorry, Grandma.
Wow, thank you for sharing this very personal story with us. Scrapping it and journaling about it must've been very cathodic. This is the first video of yours that I have watched and now I'm a subscriber and looking forward to watching more.
Thanks for watching and subscribing! It took me a while to be ready to tell that story, but once I saw that journal card I knew it was time. It really did help me to process it. 😊
Love your album! How do you get your die cut letters to look three dimensional (3D)? I love the papers you use. If they are still available could you provide the source or link?
Thank you! 😊 I double cut the letters and layered them so it looks like a drop shadow. The collection I used was Christmas Spectacular by 49 and Market.
Have you tried heat setting the ink with a heat tool? Otherwise you could try restamping with versamark and clear embossing (so it doesn’t matter if it’s not perfectly lined up) to reduce transfer.
I know this is an older video but you gave so many ideas I can add to all of my 6x8 albums. I have a trip coming next week and my project life album.Keep inspiring.
I love your travel albums! Can’t wait to see this one come together…my husband and I often take motorcycle trips and just returned from Arizona! Thanks so much for sharing!
I live near Durango, I saw it was one of their stops. If you get up this way in the future, there is a scrapbook store in town called Scrapbook Nook. Just found your channel. Looking forward to seeing this album.
