I'm new to this. When you clean the screen, it doesn't damage the screen and holds the design right? Every video I find mentions cleaning and reclaiming in the same breathe and I haven't seen a video where someone cleans Plastisol and the logo doesn't wash away until this one.
yea you dont need to reclaim it. I use bean e doo and it works really good on screens i use for like 4+ years. I recently switched ink cleaners and it totally messed up my stencil sadly. but def recommend bean e doo lol
Can anyone vouch for the Decky foam 6025 hats? Site says Fabric: 55% Foam, 45% Nylon. Not sure if these can withstand the heat? I've been told the foam needs to be 100% polyester. All help is appreciated!
hello very good instructive video. please I am in Africa I would like to get started in this profession which fascinates me so much but I do not know how to have good equipment like yours at not too expensive prices
great video. I aslo watched how you set up off contact and I follow your rules. Have you got any advice how to work with white water based ink. maybe another useful video??? sorry for my english but I am from Poland
First, help for the very helpful video. Second I know you put print on the hats, but trying to take print off a very similar hat and I was wonder if knew how I would do it
These came out clean! I noticed a lot of people's hats come out with ugly marks from the platen press & sometimes even leave creases. Would you attribute your success to the time & pressure? Any other tips to avoid those creases? What's the size of the platen? Thanks fellas!
Thanks for feedback Bro! I’m a complete rookie to screen printing...but I’ve been studying immensely...and I experienced all the challenges u mentioned in my off contact setup...what size should the plexiglass be? Should it be size of screen? 20 x 24”?
Adam Chris some people try it then get a coater soon after. You can in theory but if you're looking to do quality work, I would suggest spending the $20 on a coater. Hope that helps
