I would like to suggest a method for mic scratching that is very soothing for myself, and that might interest you to try. It is like the soft crashing waves at the beach, encouched in a constant subtle breeze - always keep some contact with the mic so there is no dead silence. Breaking a silence can be offensive to the senses, but the security in having a subtle, constant amount of noise that pulses with more intensity at times is very pleasant. I wish you well, and thank you for your time.
