Exactly how popular were tally hall back then? They were in lollapalooza which i assume is a big deal, and good day got huge but they were doing a lot of small gigs, at the same time in every live performance i see the crowd is always very enthusiastic and sings along with all the songs, so i wonder if they were really popular even back then.
if they play good day ever again can we all just PLEASE bring a piece of lettuce to throw on stage when they start singing “let’s us sing ! let’s us sing !” PLEASE IM BEGGING YOU
My favorite parts The baby crying Casey pouring all his heart and soul into the “Let us sing” Casey getting attacked by a mic Zubin almost snapping his back trying to sing into the mic And Casey trying to sing into the mic and failing
I never disliked casey shea as a temporary replacement for joe, but I always found it really funny how different the two are based on personality/style. joe has to be one of the most difficult people to replicate
What response? Anyways, I think TH wouldn't be the same without joe. He literally wrote the songs that were popularized these days. That includes: Ruler of Everything, The bidding, and Hidden in the Sand. Also, Hawaii Pt. II, most songs there are written by him which also is really popular album that also introduce the band to a wider group of audiences. He may have done terrible things, but I hope that doesn't invalidate what he did for the band and the music he created.
