@@jcdragon77 Interesting, I fitted an LCD screen head unit a few weeks ago so maybe that is the issue. Holden really screwed up on the electronic control modules for these Commodores. Everything talks to everything else for real reason half the time but if one item has problems or is changed all sorts of problems arise. This is not progress. My next car will be Pre 200, probably mid 90's or earlier because you can diagnose and fix any issue with minimal time and cost.
Why would a 2004 vy be beeping when trying to lock doors like something is open but nothing is trust me slammed the doors open and clock boot and bonnet. will work on the odd occasion battery works on the clicker remote I'm lost is there any ideas I took one of the door sensors out that tells it it's closed and grounded it to the car and fixed it for bit then boom out of the blue won't look doors again
Does your interior light work properly with the doors open and closed? If not check each door sensor and make sure that it is grounding. If this doesn't work it might be the body control module. You could try another bcm and matching key fob.
@@jw879 the digital speedo from memory is only temporary when activated from the menu. A permanent digital speedo you need an ALDL cable and compatible software to get into the computer and change the settings from a laptop or smth so it can be turned on permanently. It’s called “police mode” 🙏🏼
