I just trimmed my boyfriend’s bangs with this guide (with a lot of extra thinning because he has extremely thick wavy hair 💀) and it worked so well! Definitely the best I’ve gotten his bangs to look so far!
This other video I watched cut down at an angle instead of up or over. I feel like everyone does this different which is tough when you are trying to get tips on how to use thinning shears. I'm just going to take a little from every video and attempt this!
You are very good at explaining how to use the shears. I have short layered hair and would like to see a video on how to use texturizing shears to help my layers blend better. Don’t need to thin hair as it is thin and fine. Thank you.
If I could give a heart instead of a thumbs up I would. I can't tell you how much I appreciate you sharing this wisdom. I was about to give up on my Wahl clippers, and it was rather dire because I have an important appointment tomorrow and I need to cut my beard down quite a bit so I don't look like I live under an embankment. Previously they were ripping my facial hair out, so I tried to unassemble, clean and oil them but was not able to get the blades back together properly without being crazy loud. They work just like new now. 🙏🏻❤️🌈
Thank you for this! The only video I’ve found so far showing how to texturize the ends. I used to thin my own hair but forgot over the years and hacked it last time, but I got a haircut yesterday and the ends are still too bulky. This video gave me the confidence I needed to fix that myself 🙂❤️🩹
I wonder if you can help me? Basically my 13 Yr old son has been growing his fringe for the last 6 months but we agreed to trim it because it was getting in his eyes when playing football. So I cut it but I just made the mistake of combing it all down and just cutting it perfectly straight... so now it looks rather silly, like a basin style. I also cut to much off. I just wondered if there is anything I could do to make it look less like a basin/ more natural without taking too much off? Any help much appreciated, thanks
Hi! You could probably try point cutting with texturing shears. That won't take a lot off but will break/thin the harsh line that was created. Comb the bang/fringe section up to point cut. I hope that makes sense and helps. Best of luck
What’s that stuff you stuffed back into the monster trimmer before putting on the small blade? I just disassembled mine and there’s no kind of stuffing there.
It's a foam insert. It sits underneath the blades set to reduce vibration and noise. It also acts as a barrier to prevent hair entering the body and motor of the clipper.
