@ellenshealthykitchen Hi, yes, it is. When you're uploading, there is a section to add a card. This is what pops up on the top right of the screen. You can add a link to a video or a playpist of yours.

😢yuuuu Rachelle thank u. I m a 67yrs old youtuber who just started last month. I talk slow and i m boring people as a result i got few views on my long form videos like 23. 145. 3. 165 etc. But my faceles short forms video get 452+ in 24hrs each. Must i continue with faceless even on long form videos? I m sooo frustrated😢
Hi Rachelle I notice a social media newscaster voice (kind of sing-songy when you say your words...Sounds like question marks instead of complete sentences). It can deter people from watching/video completion rate. Otherwise cheering your success!!!
Love it all! Reminds me of what you said about " Binge Watching" LOL...... Also, the only reason why I'm willing to binge watch is because 1) You talk at a normal rate (or a little faster) so I don't have to wait for the next word to come out...some people talk really slow to bump up the time, 2) You do BS about lots of other stuff, just stick to what you're teaching 3) your videos are shorter so I am able to watch a whole one instead of trying to watch 18-35 minutes at a time.. that's too long. 8-12 minutes is about right. You definitely have the gift and will go far. Keep the faith, keep creating "help" and "how to" videos because there are a ton of us out here to inspire and encourage. I wish I had this video back when I was starting. I was so mad because I had great content but wasn't getting any attention. 1k was mission impossible. I was lucky when I found out I can boost my channel with initial subs just enough to start getting noticed. I got myself first couple of hundred subs for very low price (personally used Famester). After that my main channel gain a ton of organic traffic.
Hey, Just a quick tip. You are slightly out of focus. Another thing. If you have the budget invest into a shotgun mic. The audio quality improvement will help you a lot IMO.

Hey! I am glad you found it helpful. I totally get that building an email list can be put in the too hard basket but it's actually so important to do from the beginning.
@incredifall They definitely help get subscribers but if the goal is to get monetized for ads it's harder to get 10M watch hours for shorts than 4000 for long form. They also don't cross over so shorts watch hours don't count towards long form and vice versa

I took all hashtags out of my titles and didn’t know not to use for my tags. I took out of the description as well because I thought the keywords in my description was what I needed. 🙏💕 You are an angel!! Thank you for this! Also my goal is really to help people 40 and up to inspire and encourage them to start their own channel and to help with the tech skills that seems so foreign and harder for our age to learn than younger people.
@@Moneyfromzero Keywords and 3 hashtags in your description. Then your Tags are the phases you want your video to show up for if people search it. The more specific a tag (phrase) the better for small channels because it means you have less competition for that phase. Eg, instead of "start a RU-vid channel" try "start a youtube channel in your 40s"

Making similar videos and creating playlists for them is a good way for your different viewers to watch thosecparticular contents on your channel that they love.
Very cool journey to watch. Keep in mind, and I think in Australia, you will be eligible for the 3000 hour count. Just hitting the thousand subscribers won’t do it. You’ll have to hit that 3000 hours watched. That’s the hard part 😅. Oh. You literally just mentioned that as I was typing this hahaha
500 subscribers and 3000 watch hours gets you fan based monetisation like members areas but to be eligible for adsense you need 1000 subscribers and 4000 watch hours.
