OKAY THIS IS MAKING ME SO ANGRY BC TODAY I WAS IN SEPHORA (im 11-12 years old) and i see some random landy 6 ft away recording me- like what the reason i was is sephora is bc my mom needs some mask cuz she said she has wrinkly skin and brought me with her i was just looking at the pink make up and thinkng (this color is a nice pink i wonder what i will look like as paint) and i picked up the sample and theres a lady in the coner of my eye recording me and i said "can you please not record me ????" then she said "OMG GUYS I FOUND A WILD SEPHORA KID" and im like w.t.f. why are you recording me without my consent!?!??!? and then she stopped recording and talk to my mom while she was a the mask self and said "you should control your kid she does not need any skin care shes being a brat" and my mom was not having it and said "BEACH HOW? HOW IS SHE "a brat" SHES NOT EVEN BUYING ANYTHING" and they were like"why is she at sephora then she is so young to be even wearing makeup and me with my anger issues started saying "miss im not wearing,touching or even being near makeup until now" and we called the manager and they kicked her out but these kids are ruining our reputation and everything!!! all of my friends look in disgust as we see third graders wearing make up and hitting the boys in our class with stanleys like what?!?! why are these third graders more immature than me and my friends throwing rocks over the metal fences for fun?!
I diagnose this girl with FOMO. (Fear of Missing Out.) Look, you don’t need this stuff! Your skin is perfect as it is. Heck, I’m nearly thirteen watching My Little Pony, wearing graphic sequin t-shirts, don’t use Sephora, TikTok, or whatever. In fact, I just use soap and water. AND I DON’T EVEN HAVE ANY ACNE. And as the comment by @YourGoofyOldTwilight said, “Just because it’s viral doesn’t mean it’s good.”
I have only 2 skincare items. I made sure before my mom (Tysm to her I love you so much) bought them, I searched up to make sure it was ok for my age of skin. And a lot of times when I go in I feel really like.. uncomfortable because I’m scared I will get stares from the employees and customers. I have experienced some kids like this but, I only go to ulta because I know I’m too young for all of that like Sephora stuff. So I never would make “smoothies” at a store and not clean it up. I have never actually done that before I don’t think I will be. I do not use any thing bad for my skin right now (EX.) drunk elephant. That’s just how I feel and my opinion❤
My daughter likes skin care. But before we knew like it had regnon, they weren't good for her skin. We had switched because she did have a little sensitive skin. So we got hurt brand ever eadn Her skin has been way better.Anytime she wants like skin care.Make sure to check the products and ingredients
My mom is a skin doc and she said she didn’t need it just bc it’s popular doesn’t mean you have to buy it😢 please talk to a dermatologist before buying stuff👍
Mkay story. Two girls infront of me in line I’m just trying to get some face masks (keep in mind these are 5 yr olds) and suddenly they start stuffing all those mini version of thing put on display in the line into their butterfly seed bags and security catches them but they broke all the products cause when security came then found their bags 😂 anyway mother had to pay abt 200-300$ The mother was so mad and apparently they ain’t getting money till their fifty 😂
I get there are some kids they need to be taught manners and respect but can we get rid of the “Sephora kids” name because society is calling every kid who likes beauty products or shops at Sephora might just use the products cause they see their role models use it or just want Is getting judged, filmed, and laughed at by all means if you wanna talk to the parents then sure go ahead. Like I know they should not be using retinol or really any of this stuff but there have been kids who literally just get perfume and lip balm and those are still being judged and filmed. I mean yeah I was ok in the beginning because I knew what the trend was saying but to go and film kids and I know the girl filming had all the right to record but there has been people who just record unknown children and that just crosses the line. You cannot control what a kid likes you can only control what a kid gets as a parent. personally I would rather my kid like Shopkins and cookie swirl c because that made me happy as a kid but no way am I ever gonna make them feel uncomfortable for wanting something ofc I will explain to them why I will not let them get something but I will not judge them and film them or make them feel like they have to like something.
I just want to clear up something Not all kids that go to Sephora are like this Most of them are respectful Adults can ruin testers too it’s not just the kids Lots of kids who go to Sephora don’t get stuff that damages their skin it’s usually just a little makeup and moisturizer They can be respectful They will feel uncomfortable if your looking at them a lot or even record them Not all of them and spoiled brats MOST OF THEM ARE NICE
