I am wondering, now the tool offset related to the work itself so there is no work offset used? When using the tool setter, does it give a different tool offset? Obviously the two methods can be used both but I find it confusing when thinking about the actual values and the work offset. I don't know if this makes sense but I'm fairly new to this. Thanks.
If you've already established a Work Coordinate using a different tool that was previously touched off with your tool setter, then number found using this method would coorelate with your tool setter.
That’s a lot of steps and back and forth around the machine to restart it. You would think FANUC could have integrated all those functions into the control with a 1 button push feature.
It is a lot! The main purpose of this video was to be able to have a reference for our crew to do this procedure. Automation is awesome, but it certainly does add a whole other level of complexity to our jobs.
In this environment it is very easy for the camera to be come dirty which would impact it's reliabilty, it is however very possible to do what your suggesting, we just wanted a bulletproof solution. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pWXN3npcQik.html
