@@kentonleriger8288 Thanks videos take a lot of work. But JCB pulls the cart fairly good super nimble plus smooth. We like the cost per hour is so much lower on a tractor like that then our big seeder tractors. But if we get into wet conditions where it’s hard pulling we’ll put the cart on a big versatile. JCB is 350Hp wish it was 450hp.
We love leaving tall stubble we need as much snow catch as possible. We tend to fight drought conditions more than wet. Straw clearing in the shanks is better on the Bourgault which is a perk. Hawk is a lot cheaper to buy but does a good job of seeding too. We haven’t seen yield advantages between the 2 yet. But since getting the Hawk have been more drought conditions with less straw for clearing. I like the construction of the Bourgault and there cart but I do have a biased being that’s the drill I spend all my time with. Haha.
@@keithfarms I have heard issues with the hawk and trash clearing. Apparently the newer ones a little bit better. Have also heard some peoples wings frame showing cracks on the hawk. The universal agreement too was them at bourgault has the most user friendly cart. I had made a thread online about it to see which people like about the main 4 paralinks. So bourgault, seed hawk, seedmaster and Morris.
@@Brobro449 We sold our old 68’ with the 7700 cart and have moved up to a 76’ with a 71300 cart for this upcoming 2024 season. For sure excited to try it out. And interested how much more productivity we get out of that big cart.
It's great !! 😳😳😳😲😭😩
Wow, what a fascinating video to watch. Top quality, and nice to hear some of the communication also. This should be required viewing to all governments especially Trudeau's maybe then they would think twice about carbon tax to farmers. Merry Christmas to you all, and God bless you for all you hard work!
My father in law is a cowboy and he was short on feed so he came up and baled some Lentil straw makes decent cattle feed to supplement with his good feed to get him through our winter.
Love the JCB. It’s the smoothest fastest tractor on the farm and 350 hp so it’s decent size. Dealer support is weak but if we had a serious break down we could easily throw our delta track on the cart but we prefer to keep the hours off that.
@@kentonleriger8288 It gets used lots in spring we pull a fert spin spreader with it and Roller and sometimes heavy Harrows. Those are all fast moving rough jobs so we figured it would make a great fit for the farm. We have had it 1 full season and I would say we are happy. We’ll see with time how it hold up.
