I apologize but I no longer post videos on ScrewTube. I made this decision about 3 years ago. This is based on what I've been observing on ScrewTube in the last few years. I'm currently in the process of transitioning to another platform. Any future uploads will be on that platform. I'm done with ScrewTube!
What are the lyrics in the beginning and throughout the song being repeated?? Can’t find them anywhere. To me, it sounds like “mind my call, I be won’t let go” but I know that’s not right.
This song and other versions she made is actually a cover or remake. The original version of this song was made by the late Gil Scott-Heron back in 1974.

Yes I do bro. This joint is from Jane's unreleased EP Selections. I discovered this hidden gem almost 2 yrs ago. She recorded it back in the mid 90s a few yrs after she left Loose Ends.
When I was 12 I lived on the corner of Kirkwood and Pearl Street, technically it was the house to our left that was the Corner House, it was also a crack house, where we lived was kind of a party house, some of the ladies of the evening in the area would always come to our house because they felt safe there, and they could do their thing without being harassed, let's just say my parents were very liberal and open- minded, I believe the address was either 152, or 162 Pearl Street oh, it was 1990, 91, 92, it was a very exciting time in my life. It was definitely not a gentrified area at the time, actually on Kirkwood is where I was exposed to the concept of a drive-by, uncomfortably close but not the target.
3:35 unbelievable. I am 44 and till this day that synth just kills me. Whilst i think present day music is not bad, with the whole autotune and "everybody can sing" mindset, they will not survive the test of time like these jams. a band that should have released a lot more records. so beautiful.
