Cybertruck is a futuristic car for the people who appreciate advanced technology. Don't connect it with a local car purchaser. It belongs to those looking for more than just a traditional vehicle.
Billionaires and millionaires buy things out of emotional need: that's what drives people. Richard Mille doesn't need to make sense to anyone. What this brand does, they do well. As long as this brand exists, they can afford to sell watches only to the most affluent buyers. That's the distinction. Unfortunately one of the key features of R.M is it's price. That's why people spend their money on them. I guarantee that those buyers are not exactly concerned as much about longevity of the brand or the technology inside the watch. The people who buy them, buy them to show off to other people. Its like an accessory for the rich , so they can show off and circle jerk their R.M's together like some kind of asinine dick measuring contest. I have tried to make sense of these watches from a very objective viewpoint, I'm an engineer myself. In fact I'm an executive in product management and engineering. I have tried to look at this final product and understand that R.M uses some exotic case materials and manufacturing to make their products, but I'm not buying that they created any breakthroughs that's significantly useful in the watch world. It's the perfect example of watches that are far over-engineered. Ultimately, it's not really some remarkable breakthrough unless you want to believe that it is, and pay millions for it. That's what some have chosen to do. Do you need to spend 100,000$ to make a watch incredibly shock proof? Those engineering break throughs R.M have accomplished benefit no one but R.M - because they can convince their customers that it's something special when entirely no one else in the market would dare to do it. A casio g shock does the same thing for around 50$ (and in a rugged contest, my moneys on the g shock) , a fancy state of the art movement suspension is only impressive as much as any watch that needs it, but R.M wants to sell you one! You see what I mean. Meanwhile most people don't really have taste, R.M's are gigantic, bulky and ugly but wearing them in of itself is the statement.
Hi Lana,I watched your videos and they have great content, but I noticed that the editing and thumbnails could use some improvement. I have a friend who is a professional video editor. If you'd like, I can connect you with them.
I’ll answer this question for you. They are bored. RM makes a sporty looking distinguishable watch with a decent movement and nice quality. So they can charge 500k for their watch that costs them 10k to make
No. Jacob & co is not the world's best watch makers. They may be creative in designs. But they never can compete with Patek or Vacheron Constantin even they cannot come nearby Jaeger-LeCoultre's legacy. Jacob is creating just artistic watches. No legacy.
i love UAE, how he said "for those boys that own a speedtail. Like only men have like a couple of F1's. 😂 But respect to this insane reseller. He built a serious network and relationship's to get such pieces.
I appreciate the detailed review of these watches, but personally, I don't find Richard Mille watches appealing. I prefer a more classic or understated design
