This channel is about Lifts/Elevators and Trains in New Zealand. I am mostly a railway enthusiast but am also into Lifts as well. Mostly videos from the Central North Island and occasionally other parts of NZ.
Feel free to have a look around but there is a few rules that you guys need to follow on my channel.
11:58 Wasn't much freight there I see on 565... Nice shot you got though with 222 at Bunnythorpe, glad to see some EF locos on it again. Also like that zoom in you got with 251 exiting the curves at Turangarere, And like that shot of 217 at Koputaroa as well.
As I pointed out in your last video, That is one of the strangest level crossing glitch I have ever seen, And I have seen alot of them over the years. I wonder if it is because the barrier motors take a lot of current to operate or something, Because another example that comes to mind is Mackays where the mechanical bells breafly slow down as the barriers start to raise, However if I am right and that is the cause, Then why doesn't that happen at all level crossings?? This has had be thinking a lot.
These have got to be NZ's most Epic Otis Lexans with the buttons paired with 2 COP indicators & the lanterns. I hope this survives the conversion to a hotel
@@liftrailphotographyinnz3992 They need modernising, as they feel like the dangerous kind of old. Knowing Pullman Hotels, they probably will make them Otis or Schindler with Dewhurst buttons. I was actually the one who told T3224 about these as I live locally.
Some more great shots in this one, And plenty of horn as well. However those level crossing lights on Lethbridge Street really need to be looked at, That is quite a bad glitch they have.
Those incandescent lights will be missed when they go. There's a few level crossings near me that are in the process of being upgraded as well, Really need to find the time to document those.
A rails the freight powerfully driver in new zealnd trip up and down in wellington then back driver to go to palmy north one last let go down in napier from palmerston north line in Hawke's bay 🇳🇿 am living here in napier and im enjoyed look like that awsome i love on kiwirail a driver work man the cabs through way is nice that ❤🇳🇿👋👋
Great work, I especially like the shot at Pahioa with that scenery. DL 9072 actually has a pretty nice horn, I wonder if it was replaced at some point.
I quite Like Kleemann's having been in quite a few of them myself. They are definitely one of the better "budget" brands out there. Have only done MRL Tractions ones in the UK though.....all the NZ examples I've been in so far have by Hydraulic, but I know that Traction ones do exist out there. Also, judging by the shame of the cabs in these, I'd say these most likely replaced some older lifts????
It is nice to see the EF class taking up the job without a single boring DL in the consist. That shot on the bend south of Waiouru is my favorite. Which side of Waiouru is the shot after that taken though?? Must've been going quite slow for you to catch up to 234 that soon.
