@@janalkema9320 Oh I thought you'd be watching yourself on TV. Great song, but it's an awful din , even by The Word standards but you're too vain to admit it wasn't a stellar performance. Obviously hurt your not inconsiderable ego as anyone who's met you can attest to. As for 'living rent free in my head.. I don't think so. Still, a great song, album not bad but a shit show performance.
Woo hoo! There you are Rampton!!! So glad to read your words, of course who am I to disagree...😜 Matey, I’ve tried for years to track you down, really miss you so pls can you drop me a line? Big hugz x jan.alkema@ntlworld.com
Great act .... personally I thought this and juvenile scene detective were their best singles but it turned out they'd already peaked commercially and split soon after.... shame .... saw them at small pub type gig at Cambridge boat race sometime in the 90's ... used dry ice to great effect and put on a fantastic intense and energetic show ... highly underrated!
Compulsion were the first band I ever watched live - supporting Smashing Pumkins @ London Astoria, Feb 1994. Amazing gig! Thank you for the good memories, makes me feel like a teenager again..
As the plague that is the x-factor is due back on our screens we should kidnap simon cowell & the other talentless judges and force-feed them a loop of continuous Compulsion (fav band of the nineties) playing basketcase live!
The only one I know about is the guitarist who now goes by the name Garret Jacknife Lee and is one of the biggest producers around at the moment. He can be blamed for such atrocities as Snow Patrol, Bloc Party and REM.
